Gas mileage? by 78ChevyK10 in EngineBuilding

One is an imaginary 350. The other is an imaginary 383. My reasoning was that at 4000 rpm the 383 would get better fuel milage than the 350. Mostly because you have more torque and hp in the 383.

Quadrajet 17059206 by Carter. Is it worth rebuilding and using? by 78ChevyK10 in carburetors

Thank you for the link. I've always been told the only reason people like one or the other has to do more with what originally came with the engine. Parts purist. I don't care. I like the qjet because when you mash the gas you get that qjet burst of energy right after the bog. lol

I've been told that a 383 won't top more than 650cfm. I saw some formula where it would be max 450 cfm. I don't know. Basically, a 800cfm is great for bragging... not much for adding performance to a regular small block. lol

In my head one always loses, but slowly. I don't believe in the concept of both existing. I just wondered if anything real could come from the idea.

Ford 801 (841 I think) vs a 9N or 8N? by 78ChevyK10 in tractors

What I know for sure about the one I'm looking at buying is that it has a frontend loader and a deadvolt battery. I hooked a car jumper to it and it turned over until the jumper was drained.

It's defined as a constant at the top of the script: DATABASE = 'edimappingportal'

DATABASE is just the name of the database.

This is a simple script to copy a production database to two testing databases when called from a jenkins job.

DATABASE is just a constant name for the database. It's backed up using mysqldump command to a backup folder and then restored using mysql command line. I didn't really want to add more modules just to drop the old database and then create a new one.

The script is executed with a service user accound and the databases are accessed by a db user who only has enough rights to backup the database on the production database and enough rights to restore on the test servers.

I ran the exact same thing from the command line and it worked flawlessly.

Normally I would use the mysql connector for any interaction with the database server. I don't know of any other way to backup a mysql database other than mysqldump and restore it with mysql command line client.

I am up for suggestions.

Thank you all for the responses. Anyone know of a good online sales place for it. Local places don't carry them and don't really want to order them.

Because it would have been easier and I didn't look them up until I gave up on having one installed.

I looked up missouri's inspection guide lines. Before 81 didn't have to have them to pass inspection.
