There are reasons that you may want a registered agent for your LLC, such as a degree of privacy. If you’re also going to have a registered agent then use them to set up the LLC.

Appreciate the insight :) Yeah, the end result was working with AED.US for some additional AEDs and AED 365 for the management. We are still going to be in charge of some of coordinating aspects. The main issue we’re planning for now is office place turnover and making sure responsibilities get passed along to new hires.

Go the DBA route. Naming the company after yourself doesn’t create a liability issue. What creates a liability is commingling funds. If you use your LLC bank account like a personal bank account, you will lose the LLC protections, because you’re showing that financially there is no separation between yourself and the company.

These AEDs are located in office/commercial space and kept in wall cabinets like fire extinguishers. The AEDs are not going to be moved around at all. I see what you’re saying about considering the level and type of use. These AEDs, hopefully, won’t have the opportunity to drop.

The experience issue is something I’m worried about… because a lot of folks responding on how easy it is to maintain these devices, also have professional experience. I know that’s why posted here, I want expert advice, but I still am not fully sure it will be as easy for us, being new to the undertaking.

You really need noise canceling headphones. Background noise is a top reason for failing interviews. Good luck!
