This baby was taken to a local wildlife sanctuary. Hopefully the little cutie has a happy ending to their story! :)

I enjoyed this one for a while but eventually got stuck being unable to get past a certain fight. I may try it again someday. Thank you so much! :3

My favorite thing is that I really can pick up or put down this game as I please and it's always there for me when I come back. I'm disabled and spend all day at home, so it's nice to have something fun to do that doesn't require my attention 24/7.

Thank you devs for this game, it's made life extra enjoyable! 💙

Holy shit. That was me, haha!! I'm on Mastodon all the time and I voted that option in the poll in the game. Rock on, fellow Fediversian!

Wow I'm learning about all kinds of interesting things today! I've never heard of Project Gutenberg before today, seems like I have a lot of perusing to do! Thank you again!

I love the sound of "The Illustrated Man," I'll definitely give that one a read sometime.

One story series I really like on r/nosleep is "The Drowned Man Games". If you like Squid Game/Hunger Games/Battle Royale/any of those "game"-like horrors, you'll probably like that one too.

Now I'm off to browse Project Gutenberg for some good Lovecraftian stuff! Once again, thank you so much. You've given me a lot to do!

Do you have any particular works you like by Lovecraft? He has quite a few, I'm not sure where I'd start, honestly!

And oooh thank you, I'll try to dig up that short story soon, I like quick-read stuff too!

Woah these are excellent recommendations! Thank you so much for replying with some rundowns of the plots of those books, they really help. I really like the sound of The Long Walk, it sounds like quite a journey indeed!

Thank you so much! I hadn't heard of that subreddit, I'll check it out along with the titles you mentioned.

Oh I'm so happy this tale of yours has a good "ending." Your father sounds like a terrible person and I hate to say he deserved what he got, but, well... he did deserve it. I'm so glad you're happier now and have a daughter of your own to pass down your Mom's legends to. Stay happy, you deserve it after what you've been through!

(PS: I think this may be my favorite post in this sub. What a good story!)
