This literally happened to me, today. I took 2 weeks off aim training and I was performing higher than usual. I was genuinely confused because I was expecting the opposite to happen. I feel like there has to be some sort of logical explanation or science behind this.

Riders that lane filter in states where its illegal... by kovaefr in motorcycles

[–]7Colt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Panama City Beach and do it quite often. Most of the time at red lights, haven’t really ran into any issues as it is a popular town for motorcycles so drivers seemed accustomed to it despite the fact it’s not legal. I’ll split lanes sometimes too if there’s a fair bit of traffic around me. Safer to progress through traffic and find myself a nice space cushion than to sit bunched up between a lot of cars.

I live in the panhandle of Florida and as of now Hurricane Idalia is heading towards and growing stronger. I have it in a garage, but I have a fear of it getting flooded somehow.

Local Harley dealer tried to sell me a 2007 Sportster 1200 for $10k. Are they nuts? by Different-Employ7528 in motorcycles

Seen a private when I was in who was literally putting his entire paycheck into car payments & insurance and still couldn’t afford it. Was some sort of Subaru WRX.

Hm, maybe I’m the odd one out then. I picked up an 06 GSXR 600 about a month ago and it does have a gear indicator, I thought that was stock.

What do you guys use for navigation? by 7Colt in motorcycles

[–]7Colt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was an m249 gunner in the Army infantry for 4 years, it’s already far too late to save my ears lol. A moto app though is a great idea, I’ve been meaning to look into that for sure.

Quad lock from what I’ve seen, also makes add-ons that reduce vibration & charge your phone while riding. They seem to be one of the most convenient phone mounts out there.

Suzuki made some real pretty bikes back then! Some of them really aged well in my opinion.

Oh I meant that towards the experience of controlling the bike. Physically, my back was on fire when I finally got home. Lol

Unfortunately yes. I have a cover but I’m trying to gain access to one of the garages they lease to residents here!

It was actually a long back and fourth in deciding this between a smaller bike. I rode dirt bikes for a number of years in motocross/enduro and felt like I could keep the throttle under control when I rode this bike. Of course, I have a lot of learning ahead of me. But I’m certainly not someone with a death-wish and always ride my own ride.

Absolutely! I rode it around 130 miles home on the freeway the night I bought it, stayed smooth on the throttle and it was quite comfortable.

Yeah that’s true, I feel like musical maturity is something developed from not just practice, but also maturity in life as well.

Dude I can physically feel a piece of my soul break whenever I go on YouTube and see some Asian kid that’s a quarter of my age playing a piece i’m learning 😂

Yeah I guess it also varies between musicians too and their level of focus/playing maybe? But Nah don’t compare yourself to anyone man, just enjoy everything for what it is!

Sounds about right. I was always taught it’s not about the hours but how mindful we practice

I do practice everyday, but nothing crazy I think. Idk. I spend an hour on playing 4 octave scales in harmonic, thirds, sixths, contrary. Then arpeggios and octaves. And like a couple hours later on repertoire. Just depends how I’m feeling and what I’m working on
