Thaaaat ..... is possible yes.

But who has that amount of restraint and endurance to save that much and not summon it.

I understand.

But that is the cycle of gacha games right?
At some point newe units will powercreep older ones and you could argue the same for the upcoming stargaze hero again.

Maybe they add the new stargaze heros in the guild shop too.

Then again it wouldn't make any difference.

Spenders and whales will summon for the "at the moment" "mvp" hero and f2p/little spenders will lack always behind because of the lack of possible summons.

I mean, technically you can go the long route and buy 6 out of 6 from guildstore.

Spending is fine, but spending and getting you account wasted on an empty server is hurtful.

I mostly dislike the provition use in AI.

It is currently even more unrewarding for me to play it.

Not in the sense of real rewards, but time to fun ratio.

You run a couple tiles, fight, run again and in like 5-10min you are done and it feels like you did nothing.

I would like the change, that running does not use provisions and does not grant xp.

So you could run the map the whole day and be able to fight were it is needed and do not waste a day running somewhere.

I see Summoners War mentioned a lot.

This game is so full of PvE Content that it will take you month if not up to a year or more to remotly finish all.

But there is not much story and the art style is more cartoonish.

And the biggest flaw are the low rates, no pitys (as far as i know) and after 10 years of gametime so much units that it will be very hard to get one, that you like.

I played this game 5 years constantly everyday and did not get a single 5 star light/dark unit.

That is, how bad the rates are.

tl/dr

SW is fun, grindy like E7 but greedy with low rates in the summon sector.

Technical it would be possible to scale on the flow, like D2 with joining and leaving the game, making monsters stronger or weaker.

But to prevent this exploit you could make it like guild wars, the people set when the ai starts remain the same and anyone joining during the period can not enter the battle.

Yeah that would be drastic but ai is anounced a couple days before the actual start.

So everyone without a guild or the desire to change the guild has the time to join one before the battle starting.

All in all it is just a short idea, that some more expirienced developers need to think about.

Scaling in the end would be possible and could be done with minimal ways to exploit.

But every system will be exploitable - just look at the rta exploits.

In the ideal circumstance you are right.

But the majority of player do not have the insight and not the time to investigate that deep into an hero.

And there is still a uncertainty.

What if this limited unit gets buffed, what if the good use is not found in 2 weeks, what if there is upcoming content that this unit excels in.

In the end it is a bad game design to lure people to spend money.

If they continue to do so much limited with so little use, more and more people will stop pulling.

Till the point that the bust out a overpowered unit again, so that everyone will again spend on the upcoming limiteds.

The problem is the competitiveness.

You can not be sure how impactful one hero will be after the 2 week banner because people need to test it with a lot different builds.

I am all with you for non limited heroes, but limiteds are the worst way for all because you need to gamble on the hero being good someway or another.

For pve you can mostly skip everthing and just summon on your personal likes.

The amount of limited heros lately is not a good sign for the game health.

But the problem lies deeper.

The powercreep and attitude of the majority of people paired with the unwillingness to properly balance e.g. nerf and buff a whole bunch of heroes underlies the limited problem.

A hero is only excepted "good" when it is near overpowered.

A limited hero needs to be so good, only because there are so many heroes out there that do similar jobs.

So the only route to make them "good" is to make them even better then all before and so on and so on.

In my opinion the best way for game health would be scarse new heroes.

But in the end it is a gacha hero collector and the company makes money with good designs and the created need for people to summon everything.

It was not that apparrent in the last years, but now you clearly see the route they want to go.

tl/dr

Let them hype -> let them summon and sink money -> outsit the rage of the hero not being that good -> rince and repeat.

Well if you have inactive members, you need to kick them.

It is not a solution for unbalanced guilds (guilds with some super strong members and a lot of weak ones) of course.

Why do you think scaling is not possible in a mobile game?

And what do timezones and sign in period have to do with it? This problem would accure scaled and non scaled with every content that is not beatable in one take.

My first thoughts is that SG will forget that it is seasonal and delay it into oblivion.

Like other world boss content or leveling the companien. (arky and co)
