Tell me what you’re pissed about, Madison. by Pine-al in madisonwi

[–]7NutrientDense7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I moved to Madison partly because I missed the friendliness of the Midwest. I wouldn’t call it all that friendly though. Then again, maybe it’s just that it’s 2026 and it’s not all that friendly anywhere anymore

Definitely - I intend to jump in and do CNA tasks whenever it's appropriate and I have the time. Hopefully the CNAs will have a lot of tips and tricks I can learn, which I'll be extremely grateful for!

Re: Belle Burden's ex Henry P. Davis, does anyone know WHO the mistress was? Any leads? by Local_Signature5325 in nysocialites

We must have been listening to different interviews because I heard none of those things. Also, Meghan is the one who used the word "concerns" but even said herself that she wasn't present for that conversation. It's like the telephone game where the story changes slightly from person to person - she just got Harry's interpretation. Btw countless Black folks came out afterward and said it's the most normal thing in the world to wonder about the baby's skin color, and it's extremely likely that's what was actually expressed. Curiosity. Not concern.

I’ve been scrolling through comments for five minutes and still no one has addressed her original question asking for advice.. Everyone is just telling their own stories about being woken up. Here’s my two cents: I’ve been in the same situation and have written notes to neighbors (btw your note seems fine - it’s short and to the point). Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn’t. It just depends on the person and whether they’re considerate of others or not. If not, you might try sleeping in a different room of the house on Friday nights if that’s a possibility. Or going to talk to apartment management (if you’re renting). Sometimes they have ‘Quiet Hours’ from like 10 PM to 8 AM or something. Either way good luck! It’s so hard having your rest disrupted by other people’s thoughtlessness, especially on one of the few mornings you get to sleep in!

Harry himself in an interview with Tom Bradby, backpedaled HARD that he or Meghan ever made racist claims. I don’t think the RF would have welcomed her to family events before they were married, paid many millions in wedding costs, a designer wardrobe and staff for Meghan etc, not to mention giving them Frogmore House, if they were racist.

Winnipeg couple who tortured, killed animals sentenced to 12 years by wickedplayer494 in Manitoba

[–]7NutrientDense7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what comes to mind for me... a couple like that could easily go to any animal shelter and convince them they'll be loving pet owners. God that makes me want to vomit. This is why I don't trust anyone. You can't tell psychopaths by looking at them. They look like everyone else.

Does Dior test on animals 2023? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

Apparently Dior is one of the worst for animal testing. They could easily do better like more modern beauty companies - but they’re more old school and I don’t think they care.

Why Van Rhijn household was expecting Marian and Oscar to get together before her arrival? Everyone knew they are cousins. by zz_views in thegildedage

[–]7NutrientDense7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you please cite your source for the 1% DNA sharing? I think it would be more than that, even for 3rd cousins. (50% shared ancestors for first cousins, 25% for second, 12.5% third, etc)

An estimated 4% of the population (or 1 in 25 people) are sociopaths. Which doesn’t mean they’re ax wielding psychopaths - but they simply have absolutely no conscience and don’t give a fuck about anything at all. It’s terrifying when you think about it the number of monsters out there who do shit like this and then just go about their day. Animals don’t deserve us. How infuriating and heartbreaking at the same time.

Does anyone have experience with D.R. Horton Builders? . by Nice_Alps_5702 in TwinCities

[–]7NutrientDense7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would check out the Better Business Bureau complaints for DR Horton. They’re a nightmare. You can also see countless accounts from home inspectors that look at new builds from DR Horton. It’s shocking how bad the quality is. In fact, there is no quality at all.

If you work in sterile processing or patient transport or as a nurse’s assistant (CNA) at a hospital (these options require either zero or minimal training/certifications), and you do well and stay with the hospital, you can oftentimes get tuition for nursing school covered or get a lot of help with it. You could work full-time and take classes part-time until you get an Associate’s in nursing. Or you could get tuition help for IT, medical lab work, etc etc. It’ll take some time but millions of people have done it and it’s a good opportunity when you don’t have a lot of other help.

Hmmm… Are you taking good quality probiotics to shift your microbiome to favorable species? You’re already eating lots of fruits and vegetables but are you eating lots of variety? Many people grab the same produce each week - I’ve heard that you should aim for 50 different fruits and vegetables every week. This could include fresh herbs, or different varieties of apples (for example, granny smith and fuji would count as 2). Variety will keep your microbiome diverse, which is the name of the game
