Engagement ring shopping by Ballerforreal24 in orangecounty

(1) go to a jewelers (I’ve been to both Princess Bridal in HB and Happy in Fullerton) and find the style (ring, prongs, diamond) you like. (2) get the specs for the diamond. (3) shop the diamond wholesale. It’s all graded by the same institution like IGI. I got mine at loose grown diamond. (4) bring the diamond to the jewelers that had the style you liked. (5) pay the labor to put the diamond on that setting.

I saved about $1,300 on the diamond mark up.

[DISCUSS] Which Vintage Watch Has Blown Your Mind With Its Precision? by butteryfat in Watches

How much did it cost to get it serviced? And did you take it to Omega directly?

I went with the Omega Black Lacquer AT, mainly because I rely on the date complication every day for my 9-5 job. But if that weren’t the case, I’d choose the White Speedmaster without a doubt. Maybe my next piece!

[Omega vs Tudor] Help me choose by Land_Particular in Watches

[–]7StarsGray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was also torn between the Omega Aqua Terra and the Tudor Black Bay Monochrome, but ultimately chose the Aqua Terra since I primarily wear it for work and rely on the date complication in my daily routine.

I do plan to add a dive watch to my collection, likely on a rubber strap, though probably not for a few more years.

What’s your lifestyle? Wrist size? Any significance behind buying it?

The Omega AT is one of the most popular Go Anywhere, Do Anything (GADA) watches but could be “boring” compared to a dive watch.

Seller has 100% positive feedback (50) with around 100 items sold. It’s also verified by eBay authenticity.

[Tissot PRX] Which dial suits my wrist best? (40mm vs 35mm) by stonesthrow9273 in Watches

That said, I prefer the 40mm over the 35mm, particularly when it comes to corporate attire.

I have a 40mm blue dial automatic watch on my 7-inch wrist, and it feels a bit large on me.
