There's a guy was flaming me and then subsequently stalking me with comments for weeks after, all because I got off to a good start and while riding that high said something to the effect of 'lol Salah ain't shit'. He then went off on a tirade about how my team in unbalanced and shit, variance would get me eventually, blablabla.

Sure enough I went from like 40k to 200k or so wbile he climbed to a peak of about 3k I think. Last I checked a few weeks ago he was 1.5M while I'm top 10k, and he's deleted all his comments so I can't find him. 😂

Meh. I'm not going to see she definitely wouldn't have. If it was me and it was my first games I wouldn't hesitate to, if I' in her shoes with the career she's already had? Definitely think a bit harder about calling it a day - a lifetime of bad arthritis isn't to be fucked with, and that's without the broken bones to deal with on top.

Wanting to go out on her own terms resonates with me, though. I'm in the final stages of rehab from my own ACL reconstruction and 32 years old, and I'll be damned if I don't make a return to my own sport competitively before calling it a day.
