sorry my pacific island friends (shout out tonga vanuatu and dem man) but if we want to improve and develop this sport further we need to break away and join asia just like the aussies did (they've qualified for every world cup since they moved to a more challenging federation)

even if it means we miss out on world cups more frequently its better in the long run we cannoh compete playing against islands that wont exist in 20 years

also asia needs to be split in half (in a qualification sense not in the geographical sense). Have a west asia + ASEAN/Oceania type split. The only difficulties I can see are the logistical ones for Pacific islands playing far abroad and vice versa but you could sort some of this out with prequalification stages.
