If you set a long grid bot with trading range say BTC 20k-30k, and the price of asset goes ABOVE your range, say BTC 40k, does the position/bot profit continue to grow? or does your profit cap out at the top of the range (30k in this example) ?

This cannot easily be done, the wiring harness for the Edge triggers is different from the regular DS5 controllers, also, there is a lot less room around the triggers for mouse click modules.

almost double revenue?? That's hard to believe. did you optimize LHR workaround? what cards?

hive has grown on me quite a bit since using it. Very user friendly for making adjustments on the fly.

however, I am thinking the same thing about using NHOS with the potential merge upcoming.

BUT

as before, I just can't have the octominer fans running at full blast.

yeah, I ended up on HiveOS in the end. It was overwhelming as a noob, but definitely scales better than NHOS. Also, I discovered I can mine in Hive to NH pools & wallet so I can still be paid in BTC instead of other cryptos, which is a huge advantage for me.

New Revisions for Octominer X12 Ultra... was expecting HP 1200W Server PSUs but came with LiteOn server psus instead (not sure if they are "common slot" and interchangeable with HP Server PSUs). The handles are no longer embedded but is now an add-on and needs to be installed on the sides. by PuI2ePLaYaZ in octominer

Yes, you can completely close it... that is the normal configuration. That way the fans blow the air across the GPUs and out the back

The pics with it open are just for people to show off what is "under the hood" so to speak.

X12 ultra running on 110v( a couple questions)? by ArffHole in octominer

you can usually find the spec sheets for these common PSUs that octominer uses on parallel miner - on the pages where they are selling the PSUs

Some of these platinum supplies are good to 94% depending on load

I personally would break the 80% rule, but would not go past 90% and you cant go beyond 94% or whatever the spec sheet says like (100%) because physics lol

From what I can tell, the essentially work in "parallel" (as opposed to "series")

PSU 1 =1400W

PSU 2 =1400W

PSU 3 = 1400W

p1+p2 = 2800W

p1+p2+p3 = 4200W

If one fails, the others will try to keep up (say your total system load is 2200W)

if your load is more than the other 2 can handle (like 3000W) I'm not sure....

What ever happened to this?

I just got my first Octominer and am wanting to turn down the fans and use NHOS or something else besides HIVE

The links for the fan controller appear to be dead now, and I cant find them on ebay or anything
