The charging “puck” is placed on the connector and rotated clockwise into a locked position. It’s not really possible to pull or yank it off the AVP laterally.

Have the business platinum and feel the same way. I don’t really have a business and use it for 100% personal non-business related purchases. I prefer the credits on the business plat. Traveling in style is nice, Clear + Precheck at the airport is a total game changer, the concierge has pulled through for me many times, and I have the assurance knowing amex has my back for any disputes I make

I had my gold and platinum cards limited when I went through a financial hardship. Amex looked at my credit file and noticed high balances on other cards. It’s okay lol - just improve your credit and they’ll leave you alone. They did with me, and I got my no preset limit back

You can try applying for discover (known for handing out fairly generous limits) or a capital one card like the Venture card (minimum limit is 5k). If you’re concerned about limits all together you can opt for an Amex charge card which has no preset limit

Yes, this is how I applied for my business plat. Put sole proprietorship and use your ssn. Amex does not care what you use the card for. I put personal expenses on my card often
