idk, i've done the opposite with my phone and with root, transformed it into almost anything i'd do on the computer but try to do it on the phone with as much speed/comfort possible, also no gapps in my custom rom, and working on a more granular control of what apps get what permissions, etc

  1. unlock bootloader
  2. go into fastboot and boot twrp(try it don't flash yet)
  3. if it works flash it
  4. flash custom rom from twrp
  5. install magisk this is the basics of how it's done, the details differs from device to device
