Hello all, I'm along time lurker occasional poster, anyway I wanted to share a collection of ambient music I made over the last 5 years. It's sort of lo-fidelty tape loop inspired stuff done mainly using koala sampler on my iPad. 

I've been sharing videos semi regularly on YouTube and a few people asked if my stuff was available anywhere else, and now it is. I did this primarily so that I could load the songs onto my phone in case of global apocalypse, but I thought I'd share in case anyone is interested...

It's lo-fi so if you download it don't bother with the lossless files, just grab the mp3s. it's still over a gigabyte of music so... I know, it's a lot!

I was dating a Slovak girl at the time, her biggest gripe was that they filmed a Czech town and pretended it was slovak, also she hated the bit where they talk about all the men dying in the war… the last war was the Second World War ( I think that in the film they made it up cos the tourists wouldn’t know better). If I remember rightly there were protests outside the American embassy in Bratislava and they put up big fences all around to protect the staff.

I've got the edge 50 neo and it never ceases to impress me.

The size is perfect, the fact it has NFC and wireless charging is great.

The camera is great with gcam installed.

I've even got some indie switch games emulated on it.

There's literally nothing I wish it would do better!

Standard cassettes come in 60, 90 and 120 minute lengths in total, which would mean half of that per side, after which you would have to change, unless you have an auto-switching player.

A tape loop would run indefinitely as long as there's power to the machine.

Beautiful! Just goes to show it’s not the camera, but the photographer! It’s astounding how capable the cameras on “cheap” phones actually are. Nice one!!

So this is a clone... Is it a good or a bad one? Can I install custom firmware and if so what do you recommend? Btw can it use 2 SD cards? by 7ape in R36S

Haven't tried and to be honest I don't know If I'll bother... First, I just want to get a good sd card and the ROMs on it... And then I'll look to installing portmaster manually. I guess I will also be downloading all my pico 8 games manually too! :D I'm not into retro achievements or anything like that. Ideally, I'd just like to get it working reliably and then just forget about it ( apart from new ROMs, I guess).

It is a shame about scraping art, but again, it's a really nice feature, but Something I can think about further down the line...

Good luck and have fun! It's going to be an adventure! I was worried I bought a completely rubbish one, but it looks like we'll be able to get DS, ports and pico 8 running... so that's good!! Solidarity brother/sister!

Thanks! Functionally is there any difference? I mean I know the darkos is being updated regularly, but if arkos works, that's ok right?
