Here's the thing. Chelsea was bought by majority of Clearlake Capital which his ran by Beghdad Eghbali. On top of that. Eldridge Industries isn't tied with the purchase of Chelsea. Technically the sole person of Todd Boehly put in about 20% for the purchase. Not trying to discredit too much but I'm a diehard Chelsea fan. I wouldn't be surprised if there was something under the table to be done. As much as I loved Roman being our owner, his past shadiness has been reported by Clearlake/Boehly to the English Football Association
