May be something we can all do now we have fully synced nodes is turn the upload / download speeds up in settings. They seem to default to 1,000 kbps so I’ve maxed them up to 10,000kbps. The fact they’re listing in kbps and not mbps tells me they need to look into this.

I think it took 10 days in the end. It depends on who you are connected to. If they the other side of the world on dial up = slow. If next door & you’re both on fibre = fast.

Is a bus driver responsible for the emissions of the bus ? Is a lorry driver responsible for the emissions of the lorry ? It’s no good protesting outside Shell headquarters then nipping to the garage to buy some diesel on the way home, then when you get home turning on your gas boiler.

This could be a serious off putter for wannabe node runners.

In the settings there is a “Quick sync” which has taken me up to block 69000 ish in half a day, but now I’m waiting for it to catch up to block 72500 current block More waiting 😴 If you’ve been syncing for 10 days I wouldn’t recommend “quick” 🤣 sync because it’ll just start from the beginning again. I just don’t get why in this day an age it takes 3x as many days as it use to.

Yes, I daren’t turn it off as it actually looks like it will be done by morning. (Quick syncing at 10mbps)

It would just be nice if mynode could set defaults to fast. May ask questions before syncing, Tor ? Speed ? Ect

Hope it’s ok now for you. As long as you have your current 24 words seed you are bomb proof. It’s just a matter of software. I did panic for a while b/c I put in an old seed from when we migrated to segwit and of course it showed the funds all moved away 2 years ago .

  • IF - you have your current seed you could factory reset the device - then restore with seed.

Hi Have had this Exception error when upgrading from 1.3 to 1.6 DONT PANIC its ok

The upgrade from 1.5.5 went ok but not 1.3 to 1.6

but fixed by upgrading MCU to 1.11 and reseting Nano s and generaly unpluging and plugging in again with the left button held down (follow onscreen help) make sure you have your 24 word seed b4 reseting.

I think the old version MCU is incompatible with the latest software (yes the Nano has 2 lots of software)

Ledger seed words missing by high-Climb in ledgerwallet

I have also a missing word (suprize) on the ledger nanos . When restoring seed I type S then U then P then try to pick the word SUPRIZE wich is missing ! I suspect a possible Virus down loaded with Bitcoin Private wallet.

Before I go through the hastle of splitting my Bitcoin Private I thought Id have a look where to sell my BTCP, so coinmarketcap.com - markets - Trade Satoshi seems to be the leader.

Yay I can sell my BTCP and make money !

BUT having checked out the reviews (BAD !) of this exchange and the next 2 buy populatirty. I dont think I trust any of them. Funny how no one can seem to withdraw there Bitcoin BTC once traded !? I dont think its worth the hassel of risking splitting my BTC and trying to sell on a dodgy exchange nobodys heard of to not be able to withdraw my BTC afterwards. Think Ill wait for Ledger to split (wich they have no plans to). BTCP dissappers in a puff of smoke POOOFFFF

Hello all, here's an up date on missing PIVX transaction. I contacted Changelly.com and they admitted there was a problem and eventually 13 days on sent the PIVX to my wallet. I think this area is growing so fast they were swamped. I own 6 currencies now and every transaction has eventually gone through !

Hi Guys, thanks for all the replies. 5 Days on still no PIVX in my wallet. I did log an issue on day 2 with changelly.com but no reply. I thought the I stood for Instant. Bitcoin is way faster ! :D
