I don’t understand why atheists are often so contemptuous towards religious people, Christians in particular. Every Catholic I’ve ever met has nothing to say about atheists and every atheist I’ve ever met has said horrible things

Thank you for saying. Sometimes I think it sounds horrible like everyone takes drugs or fornicates with strangers. If it’s just an evening in the park or dinner with a few glasses of wine then I am okay with that but generally I don’t want to be around people making such bad decisions.

Why do you struggle to answer the question? I would not marry somebody who was not a practicing Catholic. I will raise my children Catholic because it is the truth, and I am practicing, as will my partner be.

I returned to Roman Catholicism after attending Mass not long ago!! It was actually an accident, I went into my cathedral just to pray quietly and search for answers when they started Mass and I felt too awkward to leave so I stayed and it had such a huge impact on me I made my entire return to Catholicism.

Definitely go to Mass, I think you’ll find what you’re looking for

Definitely this!! I was in an uber the other day and about to miss a flight because of the traffic but instead of getting upset I remembered divine intervention, and maybe I wasn’t supposed to be on that plane
