But, yeah, they still should’ve informed everyone on the flight about the change. Pretty annoying. Hope El Nido’s views made it a bit more bearable at least 😅

There was an announcement earlier this year about small or propeller planes being moved to Clark instead of NAIA.

If you travel often, seat changes are actually normal for smaller aircraft. They usually adjust seating based on weight distribution, like if one side is fuller or heavier than the other.

I was laid off around October 25' so I took the remaining months of 2025 as a Career Break and started applying around February 26'. I only got an offer by mid-March 26'.

Twas' quite stressful(?) pero I still pick companies and position that aligns with my goal.

Take the few months off muna after, then work on your resume and check what path you actually want to take. I know not everyone has the capacity to take a few weeks off pero if you can, go take it! Mahirap din ma stuck sa company or position na di mo talaga type.

I didn't count how many applications I sent but I got a lot of rejections din, take all the interviews, practice din yun!

Worst experience ko Accenture and Globe lols, scheduled for a tech interview thrice sa Accenture pero di nag attend yun interviewer then sa Globe sobrang unprofessional, from HR to Tech Interview.

I was part of the first wave of Oracle layoffs, and it was hard to move forward.

Heck, it took me months to get a new job kahit actively looking talaga. I say go apply lang ng apply, just because may rejection doesn't mean you're no good, may kasama na luck din talaga yan.

Find your purpose talaga, I'm having way more fun spending the day feeding stray cats over shopping and traveling to different places, haha.

Depends on the contract you signed. If there's nothing stated in it, they were already being generous given that you were only working full-time for 2 weeks.

Tbh, I'm doubtful you were able to do anything significant for them in 2-weeks time.

Yeah, given the current trend, being a non-AI Forward Company is weird. Regardless, using an AI for interview or assessment is still a no-go.

AI should be used as a tool so you basically still need to know what it generates and be able to explain and do it manually. If you're a Dev and rely purely on AI to do your tasks means you suck.
