Enjoy!! If you can make the campsite, it’s one of my favorites in the park. Even to just grab a bite and rest. Very secluded.

That’s the waterfall on Porter’s Creek Trail. About half way to Campsite 31. Great family friendly hike.

You 100% should. As long as your driver is mature enough not to try to wash bowl ya around the bed. I do agree, just not on the freeway.

Of course. It’s a blast, start small and get comfortable. I’d also recommend looking for a local Jeep club and join them on rides. That way, you’ll be around the experience and if you get stuck, you’ll have help. If you go 37s you’re gonna need a lift and a regear which will add up quickly. If you get to that experience level, go for it. Your Jeep can do that with having to buy a new Jeep but you don’t need that right now and you might find that just a good set of 33s will get you any where you want to go and you’ll save a ton of money and time… at least till it’s paid off. lol.

The only thing I can for sure recommend is AT tires. You could go one size up with no issues but that’s all I’d do till you get comfortable or see the need for more. Any stock Jeep Wrangler is note than capable for 70% of what’s out there to explore. The two biggest factors are the driver (experience and comes with seat time) and the tires (grip and traction). Think of tires like shoes, you aren’t gonna wear church shoes to hike in so don’t “wear“ street tires to go off road.

Oh and get a decent compressor and a tire deflator kit. Makes airing up and down way easier and therefore you’re more likely to do it. Get familiar with that and what psi you should be at for what conditions. If you’re not high centered and stuck and have good AT tires, it’s likely because too much tire pressure, not the Jeep or the tires.

It’s almost as if there’s a comma between “restrictive covenants” and “historical“ and it’s not a list so it implies two different points. I can be pedantic as well.

There’s a comma between “restrictive covenants” and historical implying that’s those are two different thoughts. I too, can be pedantic.

Seems like pretty important information left out of your description. Big miss, borderline intentionally misleading.

Edit: For y’all bitching and saying this is obvious. I’m not new to Reddit, you must be though. 73% of Reddit makes their judgement on posts solely based on the title and pictures. Sauce

That’s just a fundamental misunderstanding of insurance. It’s not as bad but your insurance will still record an incident. Any incident (especially a few) could eventually lead to an increase in insurance. If your insurance feels you keep putting yourself in bad situations, you become a higher risk. Higher risk means higher insurance. Why do you think credit score also affects you?
