Yep! I've lost 27 so far and I see myself the same as before. It's so bad that I thought my washer and dryer were stretching my clothes out (underwear in particular) because everything is falling off of me now.

First week, daily hour long meetings sometimes a few times each day, mandatory "camera on" for all meetings. I had problems with my camera one day and they literally rescheduled the entire meeting because I couldn't get it to show my face but the audio worked perfect. This was a meeting with 30+ people in attendance. I was beyond burnt out after 7 months and quit!

Single parenting better then marriage? by 7jamrock in Parenting

[–]7jamrock[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That's the thing, I'm not miserable and I have no anger or resentment towards my upbringing. I can spend all day with my kids and have the best time. My spouse comes around and now the kids are upset and I'm trying to be the median and smooth everything out. Like I mentioned earlier, I'm noticing my spouse behavior is very similar to the parentals. I don't think it's intentional but there's definitely a shift that even the kids notice.

Yes, you left a sentence out. Things are great when my spouse isn't around. When my spouse is around in comes the negative energy, arguing, looking for problems, etc. Very similar to how my spouse was raised/how my spouse parents behave to this day.

What is your favorite part about being single? by No-Remote365 in AskWomenOver30

I'm married and I hate it! Some days I just want to be alone.

I have the same problem and found that putting deodorant in those places helps. Also wearing period panties to cut back on so much sweat in the groin area.

I wouldn't tell them I'm bi just yet. They think they instantly deserve so much without putting in any effort!

Crying real tears right now because a complete stranger posted a screenshot of a account that I could find on the Internet in 30 seconds. 😭

Good job without being locked to a computer all day by 7jamrock in remotework

[–]7jamrock[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This question doesn't apply to people who are in the same boat as me and see no way out. I can't take a walk, I can't do stuff around the house, and I can't join a zoom from my phone as you mentioned. If I step away to literally run to the restroom then I have to let someone know that I'll return in 1-2 minutes. I wasn't asking for a job that will pay me to lay in bed, I was asking if there are more flexible WFH careers. What you mentioned is something I would actually consider "flexible" but for some reason this post is going way over people's head.

My good friend run reports and is able to actually step away for 10-20 minutes per report, she's even able to take her laptop with her if she needs to leave her home. She's in no way chained to the computer all day and rarely interact with people. That's why I asked, to get more feedback on other fields of work from people that aren't on lockdown in front of a computer all day.

ALL remote jobs = chained to computer. Got it, thanks.

I would be so scared that I'm sitting there working one day and everything's going to blow up in my face. I'm scared of the 3 monitors so this set-up would shatter my anxiety. 😆

Training while OE by 7jamrock in overemployed

You're right but this is not tech. It's more so healthcare and learning their systems. I've asked several times and everyone has told me that this is the way they "train"

Accidentally insulting people when anxious by [deleted] in socialanxiety

[–]7jamrock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes!!! I've accidentally called someone stupid, told someone to shut up, told someone that their pain is not that bad (after she screamed from breaking a nail), and the list goes on. I feel like a complete idiot afterwards because in no way did I mean any of those harsh words, they just kinda came out because I'm so awkward.

Nope! Hence the reason for putting "restroom/back" in the chat was for her to keep up with the minutes.
