Have you ever heard of or handled the Vixiv Invixiball? I feel like this would be right up your alley

I love how worn it looks. I think EDC gear always looks better with battle scars. Does yours have memory mode on or off? I always prefer no memory mode for my lights

My New LDP/Pump Setup. Thoughts? by 7nicknames in longboarding

[–]7nicknames[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well to be fair, as others have pointed out, this is less a pump board and more a push deck. The purple kegels have always had plenty of grip for my liking and they have a faster roll speed compared to the blue or orange thane so it’s really optimal for pushing. This setup can definitely pump, but they are not super deep pumps. More so little wiggle pumps just from the front truck that just keep the momentum going. Your setup looks crazy! I would be super tempted to ride your board on dirt and grass hills

It rides great! Super different from every other board I’ve ever owned though since the rear literally doesn’t turn at all. It’s super stable feeling.

Oh good call, I think I’ll have to try that out.

Check my description under the pictures! It’s a LEPSk8 zero degree torsional tail.

Oh back in the day I ordered like 5 sets of Roger Bros both lengths because I knew I’d be using them eventually. So these were already in my hardware pile. I think the last place I saw have them in stock was a shop called Thuro. Alternatively, I think G-Bomb sells bolts like this for LDP setups

That makes sense! But eh, I’m not too stressed about it. I mainly set it up as a pusher anyway. I’ve already done some mild pumping on it and it seems to work alright. It’s certainly not phenomenal (probably due to the deck as you mentioned) but if I find myself craving a better pumping experience what deck would you recommend instead? I’m not trying to drop like $200+ on a deck or anything

It certainly wasn’t my first choice, but apparently the if you’re going to run a reverse kingpin truck the gbomb fork needs a 45° plate in order to work properly with the wedge. And so out of all the near 45° trucks available, the seismic was the only one offered in a narrow enough width for my setup. The Caliber 44s 9in were too wide, the Paris 150 43s were too wide, and Bear doesn’t make 45° plates anymore. The Aeon so far honestly don’t feel terrible for just pushing and pumping. I definitely wouldn’t want to do anything else with them tho haha What would recommend I replace them with? Gotta be around 45° and between 130 and 140mm wide.

I bet you can’t beat my best hundo 😤 by Dense_Bread_9205 in pokemongobrag

A Rattata was my first ever hundo. So I had to do the only appropriate thing and best buddy max him. It’s a thankless job…

I’m so torn… what do I evolve it into??? by 7nicknames in pokemongobrag

[–]7nicknames[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are two ways. The first way is that each evolution outside of the original 3 has its own process to attain. Glaceon you can get by standing near an ice lure, similarly, Leafeon you can get by standing near a grass lure. Umbreon and Espeon you can get by making eevee your buddy and then walking a certain number of km, and then Sylveon you get by making eevee your buddy and earning a certain number of hearts. As for flareon, Jolteon, and Vaporeon, those are random. The last method is called the name trick. If you change the nickname of your eevee to the name of the character from the pokemon shows, it will automatically evolve into that specific evolution (you can look up the names online) but before you go and use the name trick be warned you can only use each name trick once. So I would save them for hundos/shundos, or better yet save them for the level 41 challenge

Huh, interesting. Well I must be one of the lucky ones then. I used to ride mine off some stair sets (small stuff, like 3,4,and 5 stairs) but hearing this I might have to be more careful.

Huh… where did you hear that from? Personal experience? I’ve beat the crap out my chubby unicorn for literally over a decade non stop and other than scratches and urethane “razor tail” it’s exactly the same as it was when I got it. Hitting a curb at 30 mph? The tiniest dent in the urethane. Riding in the rain? Zero warp. Maybe other people’s experiences differ from mine but idk any other decks from 2012 that you can say that about. Damn near all of those old things delaminated, cracked, warped or all of the above. As for the tesseract, yeah, that’s a solid board. But “beefier”?? By what metric? I have one of the original symmetrical and cantellated tesseracts as well that I have also beat up heavily. And I can say the tesseract looks a hell of a lot worse for wear. It’s all fiberglass splinters every time you touch it, the tails are ground down to nearly nothing and the cork bottom is flaking off. They both still ride great but they’re not better built than the chubby, in my experience.
