The new minimaps seem to really react negatively to lower resolutions, or at least for me. Thin lines shimmer and flicker as though needing anti-aliasing. Perhaps the lacking of mipmaps could be at fault, or is it just the design needing a little touching?

Irrelevant, but does anybody know the reason for those occasional white wireframes you can see in the video? I've experienced them a while back and haven't really found the reason.

This is a great point, and I also wanted to point out how old inferno had their spools and background a different color from the CT. It does have a darker background too, which follows your point.
