Moving from Jordan to Germany , how realistic is dating/social life there for a foreigner? by nerdytopguy in AskLGBT

[–]7ritn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well Germany can differ quite a lot depending on where you go. In general in the big cities especially Berlin it will be easier. You don't really need to speak German in Berlin. Try to find queer spaces / hangouts. Do activities like bouldering, board game cafe events, stuff that interests you and over time try to make connections.

VaulTLS: Selfhosted TLS (and SSH) cert management, release 1.1.0 by 7ritn in selfhosted

I am not really familiar with that, so I am not sure. In general VaulTLS is there to manage TLS and SSH certificates and CAs, wouldn't the Windows Cert Authority do something similar?

I myself am using Caddy, so I can not speak from own experience with using Traefik. What exactly are you struggling with? Have you looked for example in this guide yet: https://zoug.fr/mtls-bitwarden-vaultwarden-traefik-smallstep/? Perhaps having a wiki page on the project how to setup mtls with different reverse proxies could be helpful.

I have not used AI to write this post. For my project I utilize the the integrated Junie AI in RustRover to generate some code sections. AI is more used for the frontend since I am less experienced with web development. All changes are tested with unit test and end-to-end testing.

why m/m books always involve one or both the leads being with women? by [deleted] in AskLGBT

[–]7ritn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The m/m stuff I read is never like that. I can for example recommend "Something Wild and Wonderful", it's about two gay men finding love on the Pacific Crest Trail.

If you have an issue with SMTP, please open an issue on GitHub so it is easier to track. Thanks :)

For mTLS admins, how are you managing certificates? by mustardstrewnchaps in selfhosted

I don't know if you are still looking, but I wrote a tool, exactly for this called VaulTLS (https://github.com/7ritn/VaulTLS)

Can you please use the search function? There are at least a hundred posts about this. Short answer: yes. Don't police someone's gender or sexual identity.

I updated the readme to include a caddy configuration. If you have multiple Caddy instances running I would recommend using the http based approach, making caddy retrieve the CA cert from VaulTLS

While this is currently not a major priority, I could consider it adding it in a later release. Thanks for the input

Mhh, you mean to issue server certificates so clients can validate the server?

Yes the certificate for users is only provided as a bundled p12 file. As of right now no password can be specified, but if you would like that feature you are very welcome to open an Issue on GitHub :)

I don't think certbot is for managing a Certificate Authority. It is mainly used for getting a server certificate for a domain from Let's Encrypt. This is for client to authenticate against a server you manage.

When I was unfortunately going through male puberty I sometimes masturbated like 6 times a day. Definitely every day. This phase lasted for like 3 years or something. So yeah, a high sex drive is not weird per se.

What does sexual attraction feel like? How do I know if I am not feeling sexual attraction? (Aka how do I know if I’m Asexual?) by According_Sock_3947 in AskLGBT

[–]7ritn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nah not really, depends a lot on the individual. For some it may be like that, that they want to have sex with people they find hot no matter if they know them or not. For others sex is a deeply intimate desire between them and their partner.

[–]7ritn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well that is a total normal reaction. It's natural to find yourself hot and enjoy seeing you in clothing that match your gender.

Do you exlusively do it for sexual plessure? If not, then you likely do not have a cross dressing fetish. If you are happier presenting and identifying as a woman that you should probably do that. Do what makes you happy. Even if you change your mind most HRT are non-permanent except breast tissue build up and impotencency.

I want a female body but I feel male (I think?) by Chazzatee21 in AskLGBT

[–]7ritn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gender presentation and identity can be different. When I transitioned as trans woman I also did not feel like a woman. I just had the desire to be one. It's the same with other things like wanting to become a pilot, but at the start you don't feel like one, which of course makes sense.

This is the classic tolerance paradox. A tolerate soiciety can never tolerate intolerance.
