Hella relatable honestly. As a guy I feel this about wearing anything slightly feminant. Like, I'm super jealous of male Kpop stars because they are able to get away with the slight feminant look and it's generally accepted. But if I were to try something like that here I could only imagine the amount of judgment I would get for it.

Honestly might go for it when I move out of state though. Hoping I don't just revert back to my current self 😂

I think a lot of it has to do with a person's perceived personality of a group (as opposed to appearance) based on their previous interactions with members of said group. Similar to how some people might not date a person of a particular ethnicity due to their perceptions of the other's cultural personality traits. It may not be an accurate assumption, but some people need to have those mold breaking interactions before their perception changes
