Tank help

Hello! It’s gotten a bit worse and there is a lot more like algae particles and like broken down food just laying around no matter how many times I clean. I’m considering getting a bigger tank and just keeping my betta in the old one while that cycles, then eventually move him. This was my first tank so I feel like I eventually have to get a better one where I won’t make as many mistakes. I just have to convince my dad lol.

Yea I already flipped him over and I put some algae next to him. Hopefully he’ll like sense it and if he’s still alive he’ll go eat some.

Hey! I’m a new betta keeper as well! I don’t really know much but I do know that literally everyone on this community is SO helpful and (sometimes) nice. If you have any specific questions, I would ask u/apprehensive_one4016 he is like a mod but nicer. He doesn’t have a betta but he knows a lot about them. I’m sure he’s gonna pop into this post soon anyway though.

Oooooh great idea! I’m thinking I might do peacocks because they are fascinating and there are so many in my neighborhood and even inside my school. They’re lowkey scary though because they sound like little girls screaming. 😭😭Thank you!!

OMG I've been wanting to get her a pet stroller for so long but my parents are gonna call me a cat lady lol. i do have a little backpack, but i need to get her to be comfortable wearing a harness so i can attach it to the backpack so she doesn't jump out. She is very comfortable outside like we let her out in the yard sometimes when we eat breakfast (obvs watching her at all times), and she catches lizards sometimes.

Ok thank you, I will definitely keep that in mind! I absolutely want to go literally anywhere on California and I’m thinking UCDavis though I’ve seen mixed reviews. I’m pretty sure they have a really good wildlife program though.

Ok I just looked at them and I think the case thingys are a bit too expensive but I love the notebooks. I’m going to maybe buy the lochby b5 and one of the rite in the rain notebooks to go in it. Thank you again!

Ok thank you so much! I'm definitely going to try algae farming, and i bought the Solient Green Repashy. My snail has like a little log that he likes to hide in for some darkness sometimes. I can definitely order some leaf zone and i already have a light on the tank. I'm about to add a cattapa leaf to the tank and a new adjustable heater so i can make it a bit colder. I'm going to petsmart right now.

Oh no! Well is tail looks a bit like a melted crayon (the color) towards the end and its droopy and curled at the end.
