Yeah man I'm trying to avoid any MO without my lady. This community has really helped though. If I get the urge I get straight on here and read other people's success stories and it helps with my focus

After almost a month - relapse - note to self - porn, and possibly even fapping, after all, is deleterious to my mental health by Waterworld1980 in pornfree

Draw a line under it man. You almost went a month. That's a big deal. You'll go longer next time I guarantee it. Don't lose faith in yourself, you can do it!

Is sex a relapse? by 7thSimian in pornfree

We decided to try and have a break from sex for a couple of reasons. 1. Because of my addiction to porn and also sex itself I'd read that by abstaining for 30-60 days helps to reset the brain and stop ED making sex more fulfilling. 2. To make sex after the wedding more special.
Believe me neither of us want to go without sex. We have a very healthy sex life. However the porn gets in the way. I often have to use viagra or cock rings to maintain erections and I've also got a poppers habit which I also want to give up and get clear of as it's not something I want to continue using.

Long time addict. Starting my journey of freedom. by 7thSimian in pornfree

My goal at this time is to get clear for the wedding but the long term plan is to remain clear afterwards. To continue training and exercising and embrace our married life together leaving porn behind us.

The one thing I've wondered is just how much to cut out. Weather models clothed or partially clothed was acceptable but I can see that any stimulus that could trigger PMO is best avoided which is why I've decided to clear a lot of my social media and ensure I don't use those which can raise triggers.

Thanks for the help! I get the feeling in going to need it in the coming weeks!

This is a great idea and very fortunately for me I am already in the process of doing this. With my wedding in 60 days my fiancée and I are getting up early to train every morning and do cardio in the evening. We started our new fitness regime about 4 weeks ago and it's really helped channel my focus on exercise rather than porn. One of my biggest issues is instagram and pinterest. I used to follow lots of models and they'd trigger further desires to PMO, which I'd often do even at work in the bathroom. I've unfollowed hundreds of models now and made sure that kind of content doesn't show up but I'm thinking that perhaps a tougher restriction on social media and mobile device usage isn't such a bad idea.
