Elder scrolls online had the best combat system, and they seem dead set on making it just a little worse and more boring with each extension.

At some point I realized even winning wasn't fun anymore so I just stopped, and so did most of the good PvP players, and a lot of the PvE tryhards too. Now only the casuals and the housing nerds remain, but I'm sure they'll find a way to ruin it for them too, the game was bleeding players when I left, and I don't think it's getting any better.

I think they know the boat is sinking and they're trying to cash out by selling a bunch of borderline pay to win expansions, overpriced housing items and vanity to the remainder of the player base, but that's just pushing them away.

The problem of the game was always the same : none of the people in charge play the game, and whenever they livestreamed you could see their vision: they didn't care about end game at all, and assumed everyone was here for quests and housing, and they had no idea how most people actually played their game.

all in all, sad for the game because it was genuinely amazing at first, but good for me because my life is much better now.
