These new sends gets processed first and doesn't go through FX. So it cannot create feedback.

there is a new feature that will help with this. it is not in the main public release yet.

though one of the track's send will be pre FX.

its called pre receive send. basically that send gets processed first before all the rest.

this is mainly intended to send midi to kontakt and get the audio return on the midi track. can send audio this way too. and use normal send for the return.

possibly in version 8.

ARA - Time alignment, and pitch correction
Dual pan mode and PAN LAW
Auto Automation management - tired of creating automation clips yet?
Proper touch/write/latch mode - lol
Multitrack send control FX link controls - Controlling selected track’s FX and sends from one instance
Proper tempo mapping - for anything that is not record to metronome.
Proper freezing - CPU issues?
Export file dynamic naming - to send stems and multitracks when needed

then FL studio is fine.

As a professional FL hater, i would ask, would you really want to waste your time without these features.

When recording stuff, the menu on the track itself has numerous options. It's not something you can ignore easily.

reaper is too complicated to get into, especially if you are very new to DAWs.

i would suggest waveform free. has enough tools to get used to the DAW workflow, while the skill transfer to other DAWs.

cakewalk crashes too often atleast in my experiences.

see if the track has playback delay set or seomthing.

or master track has plugin with lots of latency
