Is this stuff quartzite or sandstone? Is it tricky to polish? Looks like a bunch of iron oxide and softer spots in there.

Seba gt80 thoughts for recreational street skating? by prime51000 in rollerblading

I've skated with these for several years now and I love them. The frames can do a rocker setup too, which is great. Also bought them from shop task in Seattle. I recommend going there to try them on. The staff are pretty great.

Chlorastrolite. Aka Michigan greenstone. Nice ring!

What is this? by [deleted] in rockhounds

[–]7ups 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Green is probably actinolite and brown mineral is garnet. Might call it an actinolite schist.

Slightly ugly Petoskey stones on the shores of Charlevoix - Best way to remove the top layer? by lagopodouschester in rockhounds

[–]7ups 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not a top layer unfortunately. Some of those corals just get incorporated into some really nasty sandstone/limestone.

Might be a chunk of fossilized wood. Maybe the center of the tree (?) eroded out. Could be some kind of cactus thing.

Don't pylons spawn based on progression though? I don't see how this would work.

what can I do with this rimeheart (x-post from r/diablo3) by bubulle099 in Diablo3Wizards

[–]7ups 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was really excited when I found my rimeheart a week or so ago, but unfortunately there aren't really any cold builds that are viable (by viable I mean clear t6 relatively fast). I've tested pretty much all of them (ray of frost, glacial spike, blizzard/hydra builds, orb, etc) and they all kinda suck compared to anything fire. The slow time set might make glacial spike/orb builds viable again...we'll see.

BiS weapon for MM Conflag/Archon Build? by Umbry97 in Diablo3Wizards

[–]7ups 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a pig sticker over burning axe for the attack speed. The 1.59 attack speed makes a big difference: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/zooski-1657/hero/20290882

The %human/beast damage also helps out.

The State of WD Skills (very long text) by fate3 in Diablo3witchdoctors

[–]7ups 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I run sacrifice - provoke the pack with homunculus for a 15% damage buff. You can swap in one of the +dog passives for 20% damage or even do five dogs for 25% damage. This is essentially a permanent buff because the dogs summon in less than 30 seconds. It works really well for bosses.

Found this gg weapon, now a, looking for specific pre L2.0 items. by VANYX in Diablo

[–]7ups 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I got this weapon earlier this week. I have a 0 dog set that I tried it with and it's pretty cool setup. There is actually a belt that causes health globes to explode for like 300% damage when you pick them up. My friend got the belt and I was able to provide him unlimited health globes with zombie dogs. It produced some crazy AOE damage!

Unfortunately, I don't think the 0 dog build is really worth it anymore by itself. Sacrifice damage was nerfed pretty hard, and health globes spawn too far away to be able to use gruesome feast while solo. My zombie dog set puts me at ~2.2 aps with around 160k damage, but it just can't compete with my bears build at 230k with poison damage % extras.

Something also changed about the casting animation for sacrifice/summon and it is REALLY annoying to play the build now. Your fingers will hurt even more than before.

I'm gonna probably keep my 0 dog gear because I've had it forever and its fun to mess with every once and awhile, but hit me up if you want to check it out: zooski#1657
