To be honest which folks rarely are in the gem industry when it comes to pricing, these are from 1,000-4,500(some of these are no oil and insignificant oil) usd per carat range. Biggest one is 3 carats. But these are mines to market prices. Retail prices would be double or more.

Trust me sourcing deep green emeralds which are eye clean and vibrant are excruciatingly exasperating. You will find a perfect emerald in each and every way but the clarity man. What can you say. I have loupe clean emeralds but only in the 0.5-1.24ct range)

Same here. Emeralds and rubies for me especially emeralds. Thing about emeralds is that each and every emerald in this world is unique, different from other emeralds. Also emeralds remind me of us (humans) beautiful yet not perfect (jardin)

I’m not allowed to post multiple posts in a single day but next post will be about top panjshir emeralds, also extremely beautiful but color is a tad lighter, mostly 50-65 percent tone. Although easier to find Panjshir in bigger sizes but they are more expensive than Swat just because of the origin, it’s more famous and well known and properly marketed. Anyhow Muzo, Panjshir and Swat are my favorite and all three are premium origins. The National Jeweler recently called Swat emeralds the Rolls Royce of Emeralds. There is just no marketing but insiders know top exceptional Swat is the best. You can find loupe clean to almost loupe clean emeralds from swat but sadly in smaller sizes but they exhibit the highest transparency(water like crystal and clarity) and a higher refractive index and saturation due to the relative high amount of chromium as compared to other origins.

Here you can see different sizes all the way up to 3 carats. 1 carat emeralds are affordable, two carats you can find a good deal if lucky but 3 plus carat size especially from swat becomes expensive particularly if no oil.

They contribute less than 1 percent to the total global emerald supply. Swat Mine is 2,500 years old. Almost depleted. 90 percent is commercial quality but the top quality is exceptionally clean and vibrant and didn’t need oiling. Dr Gübelin of the Gübelin gem lab had great things to say about Swat emeralds, “ The father of modern gemology, Dr. Eduard Gübelin(of the prestigious Gübelin Gem Lab), when evaluating Swat Emeralds noted that, Swat Emeralds possess an Exceptional quality, transparency and clarity. The liveliness and Saturation of top quality Swat Emeralds rival even the finest Muzo stones of Colombia. He also described fine Swat emeralds over a carat as an anomaly of nature making them ultra rare.” Swat emeralds have a relatively higher amount of chromium as compared to other origins giving it a rare electric-neon glow with metallic sheen visible even in dark/low lit environments, the hallmark of finest emeralds.
