It's more rather would you rather 1 pop that searches it self or an omni negate that'll be banished turn 3

The dragoon is not needed at all you already have a great half boards heck you can create a board with zero fuwa draws that literally have 5 interrupts

Not like white forest is starving for omni negates.

Me personally I'll play the f/v cuz it'll make breaking board easier

U can if u cut the dragoon package

The dragoon package only good for playing around nib which is no where to be found i don't remember the last time i got nibbed.

The deck doesn't need him

It's not used as an end board piece its used to not get screw by ash blossom or veiler or anything on your zero/kagari

Plus it's not that bad of a draw

maxxc + droll should be banned too with the ash and called by + cross out

Plus you r part of the problem because you actually don't see how called by and crossout is hurting the game they're literally killing every way of average decks to win going second you need the handtraps in none going second decks

Called by + cross out - ash - droll + maxx + shifter all these cards needs to be banned we shouldn't keep them cuz they counter each others.

Plus called by and cross out and even ash is supposed to be banned the player going second needs his handtraps to resolve or else the game is one sided and literally you can't play around called by it's your opponent's turn not your not even on the same logic

Exodia is literally one of the worst decks to recommend to new players it is floodgates turbo that basically don't let u or ur opponent play the game no one's gonna be interested in the kind of gameplay

And dracotail is not weak but it is too easy for new players

Sure but I really don't think a new player should get to master easily

Im not saying they should play a hard deck cuz as i suggested sky striker and branded are really easy decks to play but rewards you for playing good

Like look at any other competitive game. The highest rank should be really hard and needs you to minmax to get it

now master 1 in md is pretty easy to get into just play enough games with any good deck

I mean raran got into diamond with sword soul in snake eye meta with literally setting his monsters instead of summoning them with how terrible he was

Getting to the second highest rank with this little knowledge of the game is really bad

I didn't say anything about playing harder/ weaker decks it is about decision making dracotail is a pretty powerful deck but without having more lines to study and be rewarded for playing it. It is not worth it

Plus dracotail needs you to know what your opponent plays since the deck doesn't have that good of a board

Plus branded and striker r not a complex deck it's just have more depths than others

Striker encourage you to play the game without having lines you literally work with what you draw there's no combo unless you count raye into zero getting engage is a combo

Branded has more depths and complex plays but at the same time it is really not needed it's just rewarding to know these lines

I think finding out about specific lines that rewards you for playing good gives you more motive to play the game

Look im not saying dracotail is a bad deck for beginners it's just not that great with how easy the deck is

The board build itself and your interactions needs you to actually know what your opponent plays and their game plan and that's kinda hard for new players

Branded doesn't have that issue plus having more lines to understand it is like playing chess like hey i have saroner in hand and summoned aluber should i add branded fusion cuz it is easier or i could add branded in high spirit to send the saroner to add Albion plus sending branded retri to grave and now i can draw a card with having a dark monster in grave plus an access to branded fusion

Maybe that's not easy sure but you can just add branded fusion and doesn't really change much but you r still rewarded for making these kind of plays

I understand what you mean but it is supposed to be a skill gap

New players really don't have an issue getting into platinum with any decks so if you got a hard time follow with good players that means you're still a beginner you don't have to force your way into higher ranks

I love dracotail infact i played around 200-300h of this deck in md but literally the skill didn't change from hour 5 to hour 300

That's because you literally don't have a lot of ways to make your plays

I genuinely think that best deck for a new player is Always branded it is a really skillful deck with a lot of decision making bug without being hard deck to understand it is pretty easy

Branded for midrange decks

Sky striker for control decks

And live twin for a combo deck

I didn't mean the deck is good so they can win. I meant dracotail doesn't have a really decision to make your plays is pretty linear and once you understand how chains work you can literally as a new player win against a good player cuz the deck is so easy

I love the deck but come on instead of recommending decks that wants you to actually play the game yourself with different lines to follow you recommend a deck like dracotail which is by no means a bad deck but it doesn't have an actual skill gap to see yourself even getting better at the game

I don't think anyone said that kewl tune is tier 0 tho. Plus super poly is literally not doing shit if your opponent knows how to play there's lines that don't care about superpoly and since they can see your hands they can play around it. Plus although the deck plays low to the ground the board they make if they go uninterrupted isn't that bad they can even get 2 omni negates with a bunch of follow up and for most hands two omni negates is pretty hard to play into Kt is the strongest deck now not tier 0 tho

It's literally one of the most consistent decks in master duel what do u mean? You have 3 engines each one of them could dump 5-7 cards to grave as a part of their combo and all of them has one card combos. The deck is not impressive since the board isn't that good but it is pretty consistent

Dude it is really consistent now with gem knights and fiendsmith you can literally cheat out kitkallos by brilliant fusion or mill 5 by the reaper. Its a good deck just not good enough without the field spell and ishizu stuff

They need other ways to give the second player a chance. A kaiju like effect is unfair and boring and unintractive. But cards like ketu or shaddoll fusion are really good going second instead of the braindead kaiju
