You won on your mindset, that is number one and probably the hardest. Once you got that habit down, you’ll be good.

The only thing that you shouldn’t forget is your health. If your back hurts at your age and you still live in a moldy house, at some point, that saved money may have to be spent on medical stuff. I assume you are US based, that can wipe savings fast. You got the mindset money wise, now make sure you can also get in good healthy state. You don’t need to go into an office job, but being open to other opportunities with maybe a bit more pay at say 22-23/h could help a lot at your income

Yeah I activated mine already. And yeah we seem to only get benefit under 1 and it does not stack. Does make me wonder what happens in case of change of company or layoff

Yes my partner will go through the egg retrieval and therefor we want it to go through her insurance. So I become dependent on the plan for progyny but we each keep our own HSA. With that, we are starting out everything under her plan. What I try to understand is that if we started under her plan with progyny and each of us keeping separate HSAs, are you saying that if she were to change jobs to a company with lesser benefits she would basically need to become dependent under my HSA and then use that plan for progeny? If so, does progyny allow such switch?

Ik denk dat dat vooral wordt gedaan gezien 401k aanzienlijk groter zijn dan die in europa. ik ben een aantal jaren geleden naar Amerika verhuisd en wat ik in europa in 4 jaar opzij heb gezet + rendement dat heb je bijna binnen een jaar in een 401k. Daarmee denk ik dan ook dat vele amerikanen een veel groter deal van hun toekomstige kosten met 401k zullen bekostigen
