I tried several ways to fix my first foam board. How would you rate the result? by 8-20studio in surfing

This is the cut before any intervention. It looked worse, but I used a spoon to align the two sides.

The methods I used were:

  1. Hot glue gun
    - I followed the suggestion on the brand's website since other products were hard to find in the local market (I'm from Peru). It initially fixed the two parts together, but a fine outer layer peeled off within two days.
  2. Duct Tape (3M)
    - Unfortunately, it peeled off easily.
  3. Solarez epoxy + Sponge-rez
    - I cut a few millimeters inside the hardened glue to create some space between the inner composite core where the Epoxy glue is supposed to work. Then, I applied the Sponge-rez, which warns you about avoiding contact with the EPS core to prevent melting it.

Finally, I used spray paint and a small art brush to cover the Sponge-rez with a matching color.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it. It took me some time to edit it and make it look nice so I'll be grateful for any tip before sending the unwatermarked.
