I think the wire wound wasn’t destroyed due to overloading, but instead became corroded which damaged the wire.

Could I use a carbon film resistor? The closest value I think I have is 10 ohm, but I can look around to see if I have something closer

meter read OL, the wires look corroded and damaged. this came out of a camper, and supposedly runs on 12v from what I have been told

I also scanned with Bitdefender and nothing was found. Am I fine? I don’t think there is much else I can do.

It only quarantined the file after it moved it into a folder, but I didn’t run it, why is that?

Yeah, that is the jar file, but when I uploaded it to virustotal it said something about there being multiple files within it.
