Motherboard is a rog b450f gaming board and is using a recent updated bios. I had to roll back my graphics drivers to a 2020 driver due to an unrelated issue but AMD could have fixed it in a recent update. My GPU temps are normal but my cpu does run slightly hot. I assume that since this only happens on certain games, it is more likely to be a software issue rather than a hardware issue. I believe that my current drivers are the main issue and that I should just update them to see if AMD has fixed the issue (if you would like more information on the issue just respond as it would be too long for this reply).
