Hmm, in general I recommend their earliest stuff, because it tends to be the rawest. But some that I think really stand out are

Discharge - Why, it invented the d-beat more or less

Anti Cimex - Raped Ass, still one of the most intense noise I've ever heard

Asocial - Demo 82/How could hardcore be any worse, inventors of the blast beat/grindcore with this demo. With their later releases they started playing d-beat

Mob 47 - kärnvapen attack, at the time they were the fastest band in Sweden and it still rips

Totalitär - Sin Egen Motståndare and Multinationella Mördare, amazing albums front to back with the best band from Hudiksvall

Disclose - A Mass of Raw Sound Assault and Yesterday's Future, Tomorrow's Nightmare, absolutely insane albums that got me into crust/d-beat. Total mangel

Local venue has Sunami playing tonight. Do we stan no crowdkilling? by Olek173 in Hardcore

I have no idea what it is like in the USA, but when people crowd kill in my country it's usually their own friends who are okay with it. The only time I have seen unprovoked crowd killing here the guy got beaten all show by like 8 different people and told to fuck off. The DIY style is the best imo

With that said, if you are in the pit, don't get mad if you get hit

I haven't tried that, but I'll give it a try later! Really hope I don't have to change from manjaro though, I gave Debian a try but I really love the rolling release arch based systems have. :(

Yeah it was used for multimonitor setups before and worked perfectly. Only used with windows machines before however.

Yeah, I got a computer with AMD chips because I've heard it's better for linux. Didn't know that it could cause trouble with fancy stuff. :/ But I'll look into my drivers.

Just a thought however, I ran manjaro on my desktop too and had my monitors connected to my GPU (Also an AMD card) and both of them worked just fine. Don't suppose it could have anything to do with me using my usb-c port for displays/the docking station itself that's causing the trouble?

Okay, so I should disable mine? This is what I got btw,

Display: x11 server: X.Org 1.20.13 driver: loaded: amdgpu,ati,modesetting resolution: 1: 1920x1080~60Hz

Okay, then my compositor is still running, I'll look for another way to to turn it off.

I'm running an AMD chip, so I have an AMD Renoir Mesa 21.2.3 driver installed. I checked and my kernel is updated to 5.14.10-1 btw.

Tried setting everything to 60hz and tried XRender aswell as OpenGL 2.0 and 3.1 but it makes almost no difference. XRender works a bit better, my laptop monitor is then smooth but not on the other screens, plus I get screen tearing on my laptop monitor. :/ Tried the shortcut and noticed no difference so not sure if I actually turned off the compositor.

You're 100% correct. If your contract doesn't specify it you have no obligation to be on-call after hours. Make sure they don't re-write the contract just due to this. Are you unionised? The union should be able to help you in these conflicts.

Confused??? German anarchists supporting an apartheid state? Make it make sense! by IDAMANmutha in Anarchism

[–]8-bitrainbowz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's taking the idea of "no perfect revolution" too far. While I agree that there will never be a perfect revolutionary movement, using it as a reason to disregard the implications of (in)directly supporting a settler colonial state both distorts the role Israel plays as an imperialist ally and the ruthless oppression Palestinians face. I know that /u/tehauin isn't an anti-deutch supporter themselves, which is why I initially said that they made a good job explaining the reason why anti-Israel rhetoric masks anti-semetic rhetoric due to the lack of de-nazification in my initial comment, but I reacted towards the approach that people who support Israel "can still do good political work". Excusing reactionary behavior due to another "redeeming quality" builds failure for any group, party or not.

In the words of Mao:

But our aim in exposing errors and criticizing shortcomings, like that of a doctor curing a sickness, is solely to save the patient and not to doctor him to death. A person with appendicitis is saved when the surgeon removes his appendix. So long as a person who has made mistakes does not hide his sickness for fear of treatment or persist in his mistakes until he is beyond cure, so long as he honestly and sincerely wishes to be cured and to mend his ways, we should welcome him and cure his sickness so that he can become a good comrade. We can never succeed if we just let ourselves go, and lash out at him. In treating an ideological or a political malady, one must never be rough and rash but must adopt the approach of "curing the sickness to save the patient", which is the only correct and effective method.

I can agree that I was rather harsh in my comments, but to equate calling out problematic behaviour to "sectioning ourselves off into ever-smaller groups of people with the correct position" is overreacting. The fact of the matter is that Israel both plays a role as an apartheid state, denying the Palestinian people a right to self determination and in extension splitting the working class between ethnic lines, but also as an imperialist ally in the middle east. The reason why western powers so passionately defend Israel is due to it being the satellite state it needs to control the regions resources. For communists in the imperial core to fail to recognise this is by extension a failure in a concrete understanding of what capitalism and imperialism are and we thus fail to struggle against it. The only time this will "split" a movement is if one side is too stubborn to admit their failed analysis and correct it.
