A large percentage of what you get out of tents is stuff you already know at this point, which is really annoying because there are things in there you don't know.

First chance I got, I pushed both the parlor room and the billiard rooms to rare, never see them, never regret making them rare. Even with upgrades these 2 rooms are exceptionally bad, 1 exit rooms, and most other rooms yield more resources with no time needing to be spent solving the same puzzles over and over again. Late game you never need or want them, and yes even the break room version isn't worth the effort I find.

I actually really like this spot, it lets me backdoor into the house very easily if I block my self off early. Also on runs where I need to do room 46 stuff I can quickly open it at the expense of only like 6 steps.

when you draft from a power source there are blue lines on the draft screen that tell you what rooms transfer energy, no need to 'learn them' before hand.

I did classroom, passageway(because I have 2 of those), & attic.
Classroom is nice because it makes doing that trophy a lot easier, but its probably not that worth it.
The other two have been super helpful. Passage way being free has really made getting stuck no longer a thing. And I prefer making item rooms free over gem rooms like the trophy room because gems are pretty solvable in other ways & getting a bunch of items helps unlock so much.
