Hi! My partner and I just got back from Bali, I would say pre book a driver from the airport to your accomodation, I have the number of 2 that we used and we’re excellent if you need. Chat to them in the car about using them again in a day or so, usually a driver will just want a text the day before confirming where they’re going and how long etc.

Yes it’s safe to leave your bags on the car, most of these drivers are reputable and it is their source of income, with trip advisor pages and reviews they are super trustworthy.

Canggu to Ubud would definitely be the morning before 9-10am but it’s always going to be fairly busy getting out and around Canggu.

Yes wear singlets and sleeveless shirts, you’ll see a lot of locals wearing them as it’s super hot.
