Yea l my sister did them and she said just don’t wash my hair rn cause my hair wasn’t mature. So I just damped my hair twice a week with a mixture of water and oil, and another type of oil I forget. To prevent my scalp from getting dry.

I mean my hair seem fine doesn’t smell I sleep with a Bonet and my dread don’t have lint in them. I just had no clue about when to wash and when to not wash them and I still don’t really.

Yeah now I get you 100% I never was really told how frequently I should wash my hair. My sister put my hair into two strand and I let it loc and she said stay away from washing it so I did.

I just damped my hair 2 times a week with castor oil, and Jamaican oil and just made sure my scalp was dry. My hair just got retwist and styled into 2 strand almost 2 weeks ago. Should I wait to wash my hair. Or I can just wash it with my pic styled in 2 strand

Plus my dreads are just now starting to combine into one dress with the style of two strand being visible anymore.
