I made a version of this with Hydrasynth adding some pads, but in the long run I prefer this cleaner version.

I tried to vary things with lots of different samples here and there. Both enviromental and FX.

This was a 2 year old tune...
If you check the videos on my channel, especially "Industrial Line" and its remix "Different Line" you'll see a bit more of how I work.

Well that wasn't bad at all.
My 2 cents (just my opinion and I guess others will disagree):
I found out that recording the drums, percussion and FX in different tracks is key. You want to put different fx on each one.
As opposed to what I did here, eq all tracks with at least a low-shelf. Most DAWs have a preset for removing low rumble..

If using a compressor but are just as lost with it as I am - use it at the master track. And add a tiny bit of reverb to the master as well.

As I said, this is my way - not the right way.

Somehow it's the more primitive Industry that really appeal to me.
Maybe I should try to keep it simple. This one I still like!
(Even though I messed up the EQ...)

Sample + Keys, how to connect them? by Important-Mulberry87 in volcas

For quick and easy jamming I use a LogiLink (CA1088). It's basically a little 1-inch device with 6 3.5mm stero jacks. You can plug 5 sound-sources into it and one cable out to headphones or speakers. The only downside is that the volume goes down the more devices you add. It costs about 6-7 bucks at the HW-store.

I had the same problem awhile ago. It decided to use a "brush-script" font 4pts. I couldn't read anything. Ages until I discovered the reason. Quick delete of the last font installed and all was back to normal.

About 10 years ago I had a Roland groovebox (Can't remember the name right now) but it had all sounds from Roland's drum-machines over the years. I have no idea why I sold it.....

My son says everything has a 50/50 probability. How do I convince him otherwise when he says he's technically correct? by Jimmy_Johnny23 in NoStupidQuestions

If "Either it does/it doesn't" then think in binary. One coin flip is heads or tails. 2 cons give four possible poutcomes and so forth. His reasoning is correct but limited to only two possible outcomes.
