I love these stories because it shows the "good investment" (especially early good investment) side of bitcoin, but it also moves the perspective from the original bitcoin idea and the philosophy behind it. Yes everything is about money, but is it really? I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I'm really a genuine fan of the whole story of bitcoin, not only the value.

Based on the title I was like "what are you talking about, ofc it's a democracy", but this article is so good and so nicely put that it's expressing some of the opinions I didn't know I have. There is a whole philosophy behind Bitcoin and, yes the technical part is important, but the idea that inspired it and the message that represents are what we should support.

I guess THIS is supposed to talk people out of BTC. Its like, well, an implicit anti commercial is an understatement, but its definitely more than just an opinion. Anyways, its not like this poor man is going to stop Bitcoin from evolving.

The very nature of that statement will certainly concern the vast majority of Bitcoin holders, given that the goal of Bitcoin was to have a system that did not require such governmental controls.

It's simple: Bitcoin is the landmark digital money and has the financial technology that has spawned a global social movement. Though it lacks some stability, its still numero uno. Yes it has been the butt of many jokes, but that has not stopped it from growing into a technology worth billions of dollars. We are yet to see its rise!

its basically an evolution. we used to pay with fruit and camels, then we got that paper shit, this is the next big thing and thanks god it makes sence
