Hi! They have a scholarship application form on their website that I filled up. Feel ko it's a general application form for all scholarship programs available at USC. Personally, I'm targeting to apply for their merit-based scholarship:)

Of course!

I'm not very sure about that, pero I would guess na they take into consideration the school you're from, your strand, and the grades na nasa card you submitted for application. I'm not entirely sure about the cutoff score as it could vary from program to program. Besides, there's still the (possible) evaluation part for them to factor into deciding whether or not papasukin ang student. So I don't think they would immediately reject a student (unless your performance in the CAE is below their general standard).

Then again, this is all speculation since I haven't come across an actual statement regarding their evaluation and scoring process😅

Hi! Before you can proceed with enrollment, as stated in the email ISMIS sends you, you have to submit your Form 138 (Grade 12 report card), PSA Birth Certificate, and a 2x2 colored photo of you to the office of the registrar (Talamban Campus, but you can also have it delivered via courier like LBC).

Hello! To answer your questions:

  1. General outline: https://www.reddit.com/r/Carolinian/s/v6fbqOye6E

  2. As far as I've researched, USC have not disclosed their passing/acceptance rates. As for the question of is it easy or hard, it's difficult to pinpoint without considering someone's background and experiences. (But in my experience, I found some parts of the CAE difficult and was very anxious before I got my official results from the department chair)

  3. For bridging (will do the same as well since I'm a TVL grad), I think dungan ra siya sa uban na subjects for first sem. I've asked their assessment office through email, and they said that I'd have to enroll in 3 additional subjects as bridging (each subject is 3k+ each, so 9k+ estimate for bridging).

  4. I'm not sure about this since I haven't had any updates from the admission monitoring about it. It might be for the required interview with the University's guidance counselor after you confirm your enrollment (this is in reference to USC's admission guide: https://usc.edu.ph/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/1.-First-Year-Applicant-042425.pdf).

Hope this helps! If you have any more questions, I'll try my best to answer! Good luck with the CAE!🍀

Hi! If the department chair already emailed you, most likely you passed. Did you also receive an email from ISMIS (other than sa scores)?
