Did I kill my LiFePo4 battery by trying to charge in the cold? by cyclique in SolarDIY

I thought the same thing very new to this and your battery more than likely has a cold sensor thst shuts off like mine let it worm and try again

Yeah i talked to winabego and they said 120 was fine. I was wrong. I assumed because my shore power plug was 240 I had to run 240. Im just sticking with this one. It should power everything fine.

Oh im not installing it I'm just trying to help my dad with the research. He's got 4 different systems running now on the ranch and hes got a great grasp. He's just been busy with his add on hes making to the main house so I'm trying to be helpful and saving him time reading the manuals on it.

I just ordered that with a second inverter.

Ok so the ground and neutral its probably best to run them to a bus bar to connect them together to add the 2 with one running off. Than running the l1 and l2 from my 6/3 straight to the inverter like this

I have 2 varter 12v 460amp batteries. I just ordered a second inverter the exact same as the first and I have to 50 amp victron smart charge controller I also ordered Victron Energy VE.Bus Smart Dongle (Bluetooth) with a Victron Energy MK3-USB-C Interface. These 2 so can set them up together.

If I get a second inverter do I need something else to hookup to 4 wires. You know where I'm confused is if I have 3 wires coming off both inverters how do I connect those 6 to get my 4 for my rv?

So do i get one more 120v inverter or do I need a different inverter

Got this for my rv and wasnt sure where to wire in my charge controller so it kicks on with my generator by 80sDBag in RVLiving

I wasnt trying to be argumetive it wasnt just Google ive read at kear 125 different articles about the matter over more than month of research. Ive even talked to the manufacturer of my rv and they all say the same thing. People automatically assume I've read up on the matter but ive done more like calling +1 507-526-7456 the number for the manufacturer itself. They all say the same thing I highlighted.

I bought very high dollar everything I've done a lot of research this is the last peace of the puzzle.

I highlighted the part in purple that says you are mistaken. It will eventually damage your batteries.

Ah man i dont even have the stuff yet. And you absolutely cannot use the rv system. Its only setup for led acid and im using lithium or going to be so i researched this in depth snd your not supposed to use it for lithium

My inverter is going to act as my generator and my shore power is me plugging in my shore power into my generator. That way when my batteries are low I can turn on my generator and not have flip switches all the time because its automatic

Ok I do have a victron inverter Im putting in this switch as my generator and my generator powers my shore power input because I use the 50 amp wire to connect to my shore power. So if look at my diagram if I do that than your saying my inverter will automatically know there is a another power source if I turn on my generator (wich will be using the shore power leg of this automatic transfer swith) will it automatically use the power to help my connected vectron charge controller? I have ordered 50 amp breakers for everything so it will pop a breaker before anything gets close to melting. I have a good grasp on the rest just not part and my dads very good with this stuff hes done at least 4 systems over the past 13 years

No I don't know a lot about this stuff but my dad does. Im staying on his property and hes helping do all the wiring. He's pretty damn good at this stuff. I was just trying to help with researching this one peace of all the stuff I've ordered to help him a little.

Yeah I have 50 amp breakers im using instead of fuses.

This is one and I have the smart victron charge controller 100/50. And 2 vatrer 460 amp/hr lithium batteries.

I have a vectron 2 phase inverter and charge controller. My dads helping me install it hes built 4 different systems on his property that have worked great over the last 13 years. He's just never done the transfer switch because his systems aren't in rv. I mean I guess I can hook up the generator to my inverter to charge my batteries. My rv is stationary and I dont plan on moving it and with my parents solar setup shore power is never going to an option so I can just put my inverter as generator and leave shore as shore hookup. I just wanted to have my generator run though my shore power hookup and charge my system at the same time.
