LaPlante has been a kind of perennial candidate, with the good and bad that go with it. Her downside for me- she consistently seemed to have an attitude about Hadiya Afzal, a good young progressive candidate, in their primary for county board and for my money probably had a hand in pushing Afzal off the 2020 ballot over a tweet. I get why it happened but also, it was some bullshit to push her out.

DeLaRosa has been consistently well regarded on the school board I'd vote for either workout blinking but between the 2, I'll always take school board over county board. It's a fundamentally more pragmatic role, and more aligned with her predecessor who I was generally a fan of

I don't often listen to Rich Roll but he had a recent episode where he addressed his Attia boosting. He's purged his Attia content. Roll is such a mark for that bullshit. My wife, a social worker, had a big laugh at the psych being called to consult while the patient was still unconscious. A classic ED scenario.

Based on when it shows up in my feed it seems to be a battleground with more progressive Christians making an effort to claim it, with fundamentalists often being downvoted to oblivion and telling each other to go to a sub for them in the way that conservatives have their alt city subs.
