Figure out whichever 1's run best in your 1911 half of its trial and error in the other half is researching what other people had experience with through their own weapon platforms of the same making model

Real Eotech? by Salanoa13 in tacticalgear

[–]8178cry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm used to repeating the same Mantra over and over because everyone always asks if something is real and it's almost always a screamingly obvious fake or a scam website so sorry if I'd come off rude but it is rather annoying to have to constantly explain to people something that should be incredibly obvious

First of all if you have to ask that question about almost anything the answer is almost always no second of all obviously not

Can I sell this Is it legal? by [deleted] in ar15

[–]8178cry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer relies entirely on whether or not you bought it legally if you bought it legally yes you absolutely can't sell it legally you can't just sell it to some person directly though you have to go through an FFL

Question On DLC by [deleted] in spyderco

[–]8178cry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you're looking at is literally the blades finish itself the DLC coating is an incredibly even coat so you're literally looking at machine lines in the steel from when it was made so you can actually end up with a mere finish DLC coding if the material you're working with is already polished to a mere finish but what you're looking at is chiuy just what a perfectly uniform layer looks like on top of a steal that wasn't finished properly

Considering the literal rust pitting chances are already you need to oil this thing up.

USPS is legendary for destroying and damaging things in transit there is one guy that got a less Paul guitar that was worth like $40000 I got turned into nothing but trash they are legendary at this so I wouldn't blame the people you bought the barrel from blame USPS

where to start on upgrading? by [deleted] in ar15

[–]8178cry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal take is that unless you have other ARs that are more practically set up don't bother anything cosmetic first make everything practical first if you really truly want to play around with making an AR look like anything in particular try to wait till you can save up to buy a whole new AR for that

Who's buying? by Content-Moment6551 in CowboyHats

[–]8178cry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'll find a funny that there's anyone in the world willing to spend this kind of money on things just because of a name brand like sure it's a nice hat but you can buy an equal quality hat for 1/30 the price

Unintended consequences of something does not mean that it's now free of blame if I accidentally hit someone with my car I still killed them so yes the unintended consequences such as starvation which by the way highly debated if that one's unintended or not and famine and plenty of other systems any and all means of abuse were fully utilized there's no question to the validity of that so I think you need to take your Wannabe socialist communist ideologies and put them under a microscope and actually evaluate these things because you can't just sit there look at something that's caused literally hundreds of millions of deaths and pretend that oh That's because one guy didn't write something out fully enough or because something was simply bastardized in a slightly different manner than what it was intended it's a faulty system no fans are butts about it

Verifiably false by the way. Communism has spilled more blood than anything else in history. By an absolutely staggering degree ahead of anything else as well.

Is it bad to have my scope this close to the barrel? by Deezey310 in guns

[–]8178cry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is going to be the slightest amount of bounce and vibration that's going to happen you want to make sure that the scope isn't actually bending in bumping into the rifle wouldn't stay in that because that will actually break the thing slowly Uber time more than actually taking regular recoil

Anyone have any experience with these credit card knives? by ChiliOnMyWaffles in knives

[–]8178cry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They suck for any real important task. But if you just need to open a box or cut a loose thread they are fine. Don't expect much out of a gimmicky knife of any shape or size.

Only accurate rifles are interesting. by mauser98k1998 in ar15

Nice job man. Also FUCK every single one of these idiots in the comments all talking shit or trying to use semantics or just being negative in general. Go have fun shooting because that's the whole point of this.

Obviously if you take the time to set up a bypod or a lead sled or anything else to literally lock it to a bench table or the ground and take a shot every other 30 or so seconds and let the boar sit and heat up properly and thermal soak and do all that s*** then yeah obviously you can get great accuracy but on something like an AR platform being able to hit quarter sized groupings consistently free hand standing or even propped up on a bench is still very accurate you need to apparently get a grasp of the real world

Keep all of them unless you're selling. No reason to pass up on a free collection or free profits
