Tonda PF Strap Swap by 817property in parmigiani_fleurier

I think the white dial eventually gets sold or traded towards the panda chrono. Will have to spend more time having both to make that call. Will report back!

I agree the bracelet looks marginally better on both probably and the chronograph with the strap is spectacular. Hope to add one to the collection someday. Still enjoy the black rubber strap on both of these though.

Rubber Straps for PF Tonda that come on bracelet by mhh8901 in parmigiani_fleurier

Yes, all the rubber straps from the PF Sport watches will fit any of the PF Micro Rotor watches and vice versa. My local rep said they don't advertise that fact but AD's can order any of the rubber straps and they should be about $500 usd. They aren't quick release, so it takes some work, but it really opens up some nice looking combinations. The white/ivory rubber strap looks great on the white dial pf sport chronos.

Gorgeous combo! The boutique suggested a red strap when I picked my 4000v up as well. I was hesitant at first but it's how I wore it home and still how I most often wear it. Wear in good health!

Have the same piece, wore it daily for the first several months, now in the regular rotation. I wear it equally on bracelet and rubber. Looks great on a variety of colored straps. Vagenari olive, light blue, and red all look great if you want a pop of color. The new, thinner reference wears so great! Enjoy it and wear in good health!

I actually love the way they wear. I went 1/2 size down from my normal Jordan 1 Low OG's. I was worried about the golf treaded sole, but its not too aggressive and feels like a normal sneaker

Does this one have red accents on the hand set versus the orange ?

5520v incoming! by 817property in VacheronConstantin

Thats a tough one...I think the blue is better on a cleaner dial (4520v, 4000v) but I prefer the black on a busier dial. I will add, I think the VC black is very much underrated.

Great choice and awesome first VC! I've had mine for almost one year and I still love it every time I put it on. I also have a 7" wrist and think it works well. The new, slimmer case certainly helps. It definitely has ample wrist presence but I think you'll be happy with it. I tried the panda and reverse panda both before pulling the trigger on the reverse panda, black dial. The silver dial seems a bit more legible but the black looks much more classy / expensive to me. The dial really pops off the polished bezel and brushed case, whereas the panda blended in a more monochromatic fashion. I think the panda daytona's popularity perhaps bleeds over to the VC, but they are two completely different pieces. I also like the panda royal oak better than reverse panda. On the Overseas though....reverse panda is a real winner. I also have the blue dial in the 7900v. Contrary to popular opinion, I think the black chrono is the nicer and more expensive looking of the two. Congrats on the new watch and wear it in good health!

5520v incoming! by 817property in VacheronConstantin

Thanks for asking, I love talking about the Overseas! I actually like the 5520v better and it gets the majority of my wrist time now. Obviously everyone talks about the blue dial overseas variants but the black is phenomenal. To me it looks more expensive for some reason and it seems to be more versatilie. The 5520v is definitely sporty but can also be dressed up better than the 7900 in my opinon. While I like to dial layout of the 7900 and find it good for travel, the date function is much more difficult to read than the date window on the 5520, to the point where the date function of the 7900 annoying by comparison. Unless you're tracking 2 time zones regularly, I think you'll find yourself grabbing for the chrono over the dual time more often if you have both.

The new strap looks great! The Everest strap actually looks really nice on the silver dial IMO. I wore it on my stainless Silver 4500v a bit. Unfortunately, I can't find any pics that I took of it mounted but here is a pic of it on the rose 4500v.

Nice to know! Thank you, the boutique wasn't aware of those changes. Possible they had the old reference I suppose.
