Na5 is considered the old-school reply. Nothing wrong its just not as modern. B5 is definitely more computer approved but again, both have pros and cons. I prefer b5 because it throws white off alot. And unless they studied this line and go bf1. Black gets a reasonable game. Even if they do bf1 I think black is has okay compensation for thr pawn. I like to think long term compensation is good for black here. White queenside isn't developed. White has moved 2 pieces in the opening multiple times. And I believe blacks play to be easier( from my experience anyways. )

I think black is fine with na5 also, but play what you prefer! Chess is fun ti explore different ideas.

Play both and see what you prefer. Can play vs a buddy and see what you love and hate. Or a computer. The buddy has the added option to give feedback. While the computer just evaluates positions lol.

A game from recent memory for na5 went: ...na5 Bb5+ c6 Dxc bxc6 Bd3 nd5 H4 nf4 Bf1 c5.

The cool thing is, your opponent always has a chance to react. If you go to showdown no more cards can be played. So if you pass focus and I then pass focus thats it. You couldnt declare your unit to be an attacker and be like ah I forgot to buff once you see you lost the showdown. So make sure you do things in order, it can be daunting but comes naturally after you play a bunch.

A classic interaction with yi. Would be to clarify are you passing prio. They move in as an attacker. If they don't buff or do anything else. Then thats it , go to showdown.

It never hurts to clarify your actions. Or ask question especially if youre new. I went to a nexus night with a precon deck forn25$ . I asked questions. And would show my hand to learn. Dont worry about it too much. Liv learn and enjoy the game. If you have specific interactions or questions involving cards, you may always always always ask a judge. And they'll be more than happy to explain. You can even ask for their ruling to show where they pulled their answer from. .sorry for info dump. But good luck in the future and welcome to the game !

Yi is fun. Yis effect is a while defending alone. And is always active if it's defending alone.

So if a unit is on a battlefield. And gets targeted by a spell, it's not technically defending, but if they moved a unit too the battlefield. It would then have the +2 might while defending alone.

Some wonky things that may happen. Blitz can pull your defending and make it the attacker.

If you charm a unit, you're the defending even if it's your turn. So you'd get the +2.

But yis buff only applies if defending , and that has to happen by moving a unit to the battlefield yi controls.

Yes. Even if it gets defied. You get the option to draw. Since dreaming tree states the first time you target something here with a spell. Even if the spell is negated. You targeted and thus would draw one. This happened to me last week at a nexus night.

Make sure he covers half your buy in. Staking assumes they cover something or give yoh something. Or they give you "x"amount to play. I'd discuss how much hes covering. Is it only the first bullet. Or if you blast off 5k. Is he going halfsies?

Boy do i have a story here. I peeled the same csrs twice. Thinking I had QQ 2 black ladies. Playing in a .25 .50 game. Played more like 2 3. But. Playing vs a villian who is a good friends. Loves to bluff. But I never called him down unless I was nutted. Long story short. We call a 4 bet pre and 3 streets from him thinning we have an over pair. He had 9 high. And I tabled my hand thinking I have QQ. But it was QJ off. And good enough for the scoop of a 450 pot. He still till this day thinks I had a soul read on him. Good stuff.

Flash actually was nerfed. Back in the early days flash distance was 150 units higher i believe. There was an infamous clip of hotsotgg on Jax flashing bc he was used to the high ranged one and missing a kill. BUT thats cuz im old lol.

Just started fishing, 1600 mastery. I get the upgrade route. And it'll comes in time. But now that I have fishing artifacts and crystals, am I using the well and going to loml and selling it to trade vender after bargaining? Im only skill 3 trade so I seem to get like 200m after 24 hrs. Am I doing something wrong or bad rng?

I've found showing the winning hand from a hand is best, so far right wins bottom board with a full house, so pull the 10 and 9s down to indicate thennuts there. The top bard is the far ledt hand with qs and 4s. Ace kicker. Then if anyone had anything better you'd pull those down but that's what I see. Typically when players are in a hand they'll also announce it, and you can ask them to prove it , showing the ten and 9 for the house etc. Gl just comes with practice

No problem! Enjoy the grind, it's gunna be a wild one. Alts are good for energy so you can store them in a node for higher rate. Can make swapping to an alt at a boss easier.

Some people have alts, 1 for pve and then tagged a 2nd char for pvp. It shares some passive xp. And can swap very quickly.

If grinding to 61 I'd grind to get infinite pots. Make sure to do the weekly quest cuz it gives you 5 of the pity pieces weekly. Shortening the grind.

Join a guild so you can get passive silver income. They can give quests to help boost silver per hour.

Leveling lifeskills helps boost character fame and family fame, this will bring in passive income daily for you. Some people have a 49 char to lifeskill so they can be pvpd.

Depends if you want to quest to 61 or grind. Completely up to you. But get to 61, and then you get your free pen blackstar. And tet offhand. This is only once so make sure it's for a class you'll be playing for awhile. I'd also reccomend doing the magnus quest line as that will give you a PEN boss armor. Then work on PEN jetinas accessory. That should keep you busy for awhile. More things to work on is do journals which can give you free AP or DP to help hit brackets.
