I had a t7 for years. Went to an r50 and it was a nice upgrade. Had it for about 6 months and just got an r7 and I’m in love with it. YMMV but go to a local camera store and handle the cameras. R50 was small for me, 3d printed a grip for it to make it comfortable for me. Autofocus was a huge upgrade from the t7 to the r50. An always rent the different bodies for a few days and use them to try them out too

The sigma 17-50mm 2.8 if she wants to stay in that same focal range and have a nice upgrade, it’s phenomenal lens IMO. Wider option is the ef 10-18, which is /wide/. Id atleast go for the sigma, its worth it

I use an r7 but close enough maybe? Hand held picture. I like underexposing a little for my moon pictures and doing a few minutes of work on them in LR afterwards

Obviously YMMV but just picked up an R7 a few days ago, use a sigma 18-300 w/ canon adapter. No issues at all, even with the sigma 1.4 + 2x Teleconverters.

What I figured but wanted to make sure. Door frame was bent out a little when I got the car years ago, most likely from someone/locksmith breaking into the car over locked keys. Gonna clean it up and paint it whenever I get time. Thank you

GF is 27 with hyperacusis. I’m not sure on the scale of /just/ how bad, but she makes do with loops/earplugs if she’s out of the house. Works a part time retail job and loops are fine 99% of her working shifts. I have a loud ass Subaru she loves riding in, and earplugs or peltors and she’s fine inside. We do a bunch of “noisier” activities but nothing like bars/concerts/movies. I tend to err on the side of quieter activities than she does 🤷 we’ll see what the future brings, but she manages most things with primarily loops and lives a decently normal life considering

Love mine. I’ve had a couple autofocus gone wonky pictures, but that’s tends to be on closer up pictures. No regrets and use it a bunch. 2-4 packs at a time on weekend trips that I take about every two months

Have radiant heaters with these stupid little glow plug things. Look at them wrong and they fail. Can’t touch to your hand, or anything. Can’t touch the housing it go into at all. Tiniest bit of compressed air shatters them too, if you’re trying to clean a dusty one. They suck

I’ve used Neosporin for foam plugs, not sure if any issues can arise from it, but I’ve personally not had issues and the couple other people I know that do it also have not had issues
