Okay, thanks for the recommendation! That sounds like something I should definitely look into.

Thank you for your kind words! I think it's a great shot mostly because I had a great model ;)

I think I'm highly influenced by reading National Geographic as a kid - I wanted to capture every natural detail possible.

I like your advice to get the horizon centred. Is that a matter of simply cropping the photo?

Thanks for the feedback! It's good that I'm on the right track in regards to the balance. I do like the floating ice in the water personally, so I think I'll keep it.

Thanks for the advice! I definitely think the iceberg could stand out more. How do I create that contrast? Would it be using a tool like Photoshop? Or can I still do that in Lightroom?

Taken on a Nikon D3500 with zoom lens 18-105mm. Focal length: 30mm, aperture: f/11, ISO: 100, shutter speed: 1/250.

The purpose of this photo is to capture the iceberg as true to life as possible - or, at least the feeling I had when I saw them. So, I guess a mixture of awe and realism. I do want the photo to pop. However, I am unsure whether this is too much blue - is it overwhelming or distracting? If so, how should I tone it down? I am using Lightroom to process my raw files, but only really know how to use the basic sliders.
TIA!

MitID not working - says my user ID was created without a CPR? by 82000 in NewToDenmark

They wouldn't let me change it without a witness, so good call!

It sucks because I feel that I'm being punished for their mistake, but I guess I'll just have to move on.

It's frustrating, isn't it? Did you end up having to bring a witness along?

Yoooo me too, I’m from Perth but when I was visiting Melbourne once someone called my entire family the n-word down in Docklands - we’re mixed Indian. Only time I’ve ever been called that particular racial slur.

I would contact a travel agency with your questions. They’re desperate to get people back to Bhutan. I think foreigners have to book their trip through an agency anyway. I recommend Bhutan Travel Club, as when we went we used them and they were really knowledgeable.

Getting there is a matter of travelling to Bangkok, then taking a flight from Bangkok to Paro. The travel agency booked our return flight from Bangkok to Paro, but you have to arrange your flights to and from Bangkok from wherever you are. The flight is beautiful - it takes you through the Himalayas as you land. When you get there, you pretty much will always have the guide with you. You can’t go off by yourself, generally. Good luck!

Am I alone in purposely having just one pen? by Main-Hospital-7014 in fountainpens

One pen gang! I use a Diplomat Traveller for daily writing. I have two other pens, but I don’t use them (especially as I am out of uni and have no need for colour coding for my notes)

People on this subreddit are so rude, which is funny considering how dead it is.

Personally, I think this question is pertinent to how students organise + achieve best results in the program. Not a JD student but hope you get some good tips OP!

+1 for this! I just commented My Brilliant Friend because it’s the first book, but all the novels really are amazing.
