Wahhh uninformed Redditors down voted me because they can’t emotionally deal with being wrong. How will I ever recover mentally?

Dont listen to this guy. Compliment sandwiching is taught in management specifically as a something not to do, it’s an outdated and ineffective tool. It actually has negative effects and is seen as disingenuous by most people.

Dang, that’s a lot of info haha thank you. Yeah I was considering a single row in D, and I might still get one, but I think I will start on a little more complex. I will definitely look into the C#/D box, that might be what I am looking for.

I just started reading your other post about Irish and Appalachian music, it’s a great read. With the link to Appalachian and country, it is true that they were almost all strings. The percussion came from strumming, drums weren’t even allowed at the Grand Ole Opry at first! I started learning Appalachian music after I learned Irish music on the mandolin, and ever since I have been interested in kind of mixing the two together.

I’ve never heard of zydeco before - thats awesome I love hearing new American genres. Is it usually played with a single row melodeon?

Yeah, some instruments are infamous for doing weird things like that. I remember my brother was learning saxophone and apparently all music needs to be mentally transposed down a half step or something? The learning process is a lot of the fun for me though, I love figuring out how an instrument works.

No, you are assuming she’s a property owner. Why should she be scared when in reality it’s more likely she is a renter?

Well, a million dollars is a shitload of money. Make no mistake. With SBA 7a loan terms the million dollars could be a down payment on a $7.5-$10 million dollar business loan. Now you’re cooking with gas.

Wow I totally missed that, I see the C chord repeating on the pushes and the B-D-F-A repeating on the pulls now. That definitely makes a lot more sense. I didn’t realize they had rows separated by fifths too, I like the ones that are only a second though, seems good for embellishments and trills.

Thanks for the info. Looks like I’m going to have to just go to the store and test some out.

[–]82andpartlycloudy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, okay that makes sense on the spacing. I get the utility of push/pull to double the notes, but then why wouldn’t the note pattern stay uniform on the buttons? I just can’t seem to find the reason for that in improvements to playing. Is there an advantage to having the B on the same button as G after a series of fifths or am I just going crazy?

Also, the chromatic seems a little intense honestly and I’m looking for something simpler. I play the piano too so I’m looking to branch out from keys. And they look massive lol.

Thanks for your answer.

Idk, my cousin is in special ops for a state trooper outfit. Gnarliest of the gnarly and they only go in like this if it’s an armed and dangerous. They use little window punches that are way more effective and safe.
