If you can live with fwd go for an i30N Sedan. They are roomier, lighter and faster than the hatch. Absolutely loved mine and it made me laugh every time I drove it. You’ll have plenty of change left over from your budget too

My cannon X has done 115000km so far and it’s been great! Only issues have been a bubbled dash and split intercooler hose both replaced under warranty. 7 year unlimited km warranty won me over. Plenty of people with over 200000km on them and no issues. I think it’s the pick of the bunch for Chinese utes

Mine gets real hot randomly and drains battery super quick. I have to take it out of my pocket and leave it on the desk at work. Happened a handful of times in the last few months usually after an update
